Very comfortable, great traction on driveways with a slight slope that have the beaded gravel that is normally like walking on glass when it rains.Could use a tad more ankle support, just my preference.Puddles, wet grass, the diamond plate in the mail truck to everything in between, by far my favorite shoes for working at the USPS.What amazes me is the shipping. These got to Washington State from Poland in 3 days.
update to my review from 5/2021; i have 2 pairs black and khaki and we these almost daily. They are more comfortable today than day one and have worn well (losts of desert hiking) I have had a number of tactical type boots and these are absolutely the best i have ever owned. If you are on the fence, buy them you will not be disappointed

Amazing boots for this first responder. I have collapsing arches and Merrell makes some great shoes for my feet.
My husband has to wear black "work boots" to work. We purchase different ones every time but this time he really went on about how extremely comfortable they are. I believe we will be purchasing them again next time he needs a new pair. Very happy with them!
I loved everything about these boots at first. After about 4 weeks of casual wear the left boot has developed a sqeak in the heel. It is very annoying and would definitely prevent me from purchasing another pair. I also think that they run about a half size big.
They seem to run a little small. I ordered a 1/2 size bigger and although I like the boot, I'm taking it to the cobbler to see if he can stretch it just a bit.Put it this way, they're not ready for a 16 hour day right out of the box.
