Arrived in one day, heavy leather, well made boot. Should hold up well.My only complaint is the Rocky insoles, they are hard and have a high arch, made the boots too tight. Removed the insoles and they fit perfectly.
These boots are very good. They resist damage and water, you can walk for miles in them, not too heavy. Only issue is the time it takes to break them in-which is common with any type of quality working boot like this. It was painful for about a week and a half, especially on the ankles. The insoles also have a hard arch support material and may need to be replaced if you have flatter feet.Overall, a good boot that has already held up well after 4 months of walking at least 5 miles a day for work. Zero discomfort after the break-in period. I fully expect them to last for at least a couple years the way they’re holding up now. Cheaper boots tend to already be showing signs of wearing down by this point.
I've always been certain of purchasing Rocky boots and knowing the fit and durability can't be beat. They're made with quality and hold up better than any other work boots with the proper care. Now that I'm retired it's a comfort to know I can trust my Rocky's to fit well and get me through my projects with ease. My size 10.5 med wide was exactly true to fit. Hopefully they will last almost a decade like my last pair. "ROCKY"....The Best on any foot. ( This review was not coached or paid for in any way )
Very nice pair of boots, didn’t take long to get them broken in. This is my second pair, first pair finally wore out after 12 plus years.
These are by far the best work boots I've ever purchased. They are more comfortable, rugged, and lighter than the Carolinas and Redwings that I have worn in the past. Cheaper too! Definitely worth a try!
I've worn this same style boot by Rocky for years. They were always comfortable right out of the box. I knew something was wrong when I received them without tags or even a box. These boots came in a sack with no ideal where they even came from. I've tried to wear them but finally gave up. I've never had a pair of boots this uncomfortable, I would not give you $5.00 for ten pair. What a waste of $150.00. DO NOT BUY THESE BOOTS
These boots are absolutely amazing. I got my first pair when I was in 8th grade, it was the trend for boys to have that specific style so I got a pair. I grew up on a farm in a small town where I spent most of my days outside. These boots are waterproof, very durable, comfortable and have pretty good ankle support. My first pair lasted 3 years, I wore them everyday. My next pair lasted about 2 years, then I took the best boot from each pair and wore those for another year. Last week I just bought my 3rd pair. I’m astounded how well they hold up. I literally have worn these every day since 8th grade. I ride a motorcycle to class (now that I’m in college) and they always keep my feet warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and dry in the rain. Highly recommend. Also, I never oiled them like I should have, so they probably would have lasted even longer.Only downside: They run large, I normally wear a 13, but with these boots I need a 11.5
rocky boots are the best, the fit right out of the box with no break in period at all needed. have purchased before and would again when needed. you can pay more but you can't buy better.
