I normally buy Timberland boots but in truth they aren't the most comfortable or warm boots and aren't especially good as work boots, at least from my experience, so after having had some Lugz products before I figured I would give these a try. Right off the bat they feel much more comfortable than Timberlands in comparison. They have much better padding underfoot and even feel more comfortable around your foot and ankle area. I haven't used them as work boots so I can't speak to that use yet and I don't know how durable they will be although my previous Lugz products were good in this regard. This has always been the great thing about Timberland for me though is they were always very durable for me. My initial impression on these boots has been very good and as long as they prove to be durable I will be very happy with them going forward.
I love these boots. I don't think they'll hold up to everyday wear, as the pair of Lugz I bought last year slit apart at the sole. These boots look good and are extremely comfortable straight-out-da-box. If you don;t need them for work or don't feel like dropping a C-note on a pair of Timb's , these are the boots to get.
Fits well however the full-size boot is uncomfortable on the ankle and shin area when worn for a long time. The boots look nice but can get marks and scuffs quite easy. Good boot just take extra care to keep them looking good. And spray them with a sealant.
Despite having bought these boots over 4 years ago, it appears that they are old. I only wore these about 4 times and the last time I wore them I noticed the suede material just brushing off the boots. Tonight I wore them for the fourth time and when I started walking the soles came off, literally unstuck. I love the brand but these were either really old or just bad.
I ordered these for my grandson, at his request. He's had them a couple of weeks and loves them. He's 14 and wears these to school every day. He hasn't had them long enough for me to comment on the durability, but he loves the look and fit.
I've been looking for a pair of good boots after my others got old. I tried boots by Khombu but they felt more like galoshes and weren't very good for walking in. These Lugz however filled the bill! They're sturdy, comfortable and good for walking in! They also kept my feet pretty dry while walking through some snow. The only thing I would fix on these boots is if they had put a pull up strap on the boot to make it a bit easier to put the boot on.
I was like many of you reading these reviews wondering if I should buy .. and if you are reading this just stop now and get them . For the price these are actually better then my 220 dollar pair of black Tim’s . Comfort is amazing , there super light weight , great for everyday style and working , the shoe also looks better then my More expensive black pair in color . Overall these are just great for everyday use and a fraction of the price of regular tims
Very heavy and uncomfortable very stiff and insoles do not last
