This was a great buy. I have worn Lifestride in the past. I ordered my usual size 9.5 and they fit great not feeling like they need broken in. I will say I have pretty thin/muscular calves and they just fit. Which works for me as I don't like when there's gaps. Toebox was also roomy which is the reason I was looking for new boots in the first place. Very happy!
I've received endless compliments. I bought the black in the wide calf and the brown in the regular. I'm a plus size woman. The calf is tight on the regular but it zips fine. I couldn't believe the deal I got on them both. I wear them for 10 to 14 hours at a time and they are comfortable.
I loved these boots. I ordered in gray two years ago in 6.5 wide. The calf wasn’t tight and wasn’t too large. More importantly to me, the wide footbed fit like a dream—it’s very difficult to find short yet wide shoes! I just ordered a 6.5 wide in black, and, again, the wide footbed fits perfectly. But the calf (automatically wide if you get a wide footbed), gaps a whole inch all around. It looks sloppy and way too big. Why the change? If you need a wide footbed like me, please know that the calf will automatically be wide as well.

I ordered a size 5, which is what I normally wear. The foot fit is great. Maybe a little snug, but it's fine.This is supposed to be a wide calf style, there's even a tag that says so.Either someone needs to reevaluate what wide calf boots should be able to accommodate, or my legs are really thick.I really feel like I've been body shamed. I'm 5'0", I'm dealing with some weight issues thanks to medication, so I've been making some changes with my wardrobe to feel more comfortable.I feel absolutely ashamed that my legs don't fit. Life Stride usually makes great products. But if you have bigger legs, don't even bother.I'm gonna go try not to cry now.
Disappointed when these beautiful tall black boots from LifeStride arrived at my home and I tried them on - or tried to. I do have wide calves - I do elliptical and treadmill - but they are not HUGE. These boots were absolutely frustrating. They may offer a bit more room for wider calves, but not generous enough for mine. Again, I have wide calves but not inordinately large ones. This was a fail. I ordered a 10 W and returned them immediately. Still looking for the ideal black tall boot on Amazon for wide calves. This was definitely not the right one for me.
These are a great pair of boots for the money. Love wearing them and have no comfort issues. True to size.
It’s so hard to find tall boots for narrow calves. These are perfect. Great quality and comfortable. Runs slightly short, so if you’re between sizes, I recommend sizing up.
