I love these. Very comfortable and look great.
Lifestride is, for me, the absolute top when it comes to shoes that are comfortable on the first wearing.I have had many, many pairs of shoes that are wonderfully comfortable after breaking in, and some styles of some brands that are fairly comfortable right away, but Lifestride is really the only brand where I can buy a shoe and consistently wear it with perfect comfort right out of the box. I apparently have surprisingly robust plantar fat pads (when I had surgery on the bottom of my foot as a child, my podiatrist told me I had "Barney Rubble feet"), but I don't have particularly wide feet, so I generally have a lot of difficulty with the fit of shoes (basically, I need a tall vamp without not a wide box, odd combo).Anyway, fantastic work pumps. Comfortable and professional-looking; not faddish, but classic. These would be great for attorneys, flight attendants, and other folks who need to look conservatively well-dressed but still be comfortable while being active. The aesthetic is flexible enough to pair with just about outfit, however.I will say that it's good that they're comfortable right out of the box, because as far as I can tell they only work with synthetic materials. I usually gravitate towards real leather because it does mold to one's foot much better than vegan/polyurethane approximations.
I have tried other more expensive shoes and all of them have been uncomfortable. The toes were to pointed. These shoes have a more rounded toe, however still very stylish. The size is true and also is the width. I have a bunion which causes me problems with fit, these are the most comfortable shoes I have found. The price point is reasonable but the comfort is the most important factor.
I wore these pumps to work for the past two years and I could literally run in them and they didn't hurt my feet! They are now looking old and beat up, so I decided to replace them with a new pair! I normally fluctuate between size 8 1/2 and 9, but these pumps in a size 9 fit perfectly! They are soft, cushioned and comfortable, but hold the heel of your foot in place so it doesn't slip when you walk. Don't hesitate to buy them if you are looking for a cute, comfortable pump!
I have been looking for the perfect pair of sensible black almond toe pumps for a year now. I tried a pair of LifeStride Women's Parigi Pump in a retail store before and they've been in my wish list ever since. I finally decided to order myself a pair in size 6.5 on Amazon. I was so excited when they came in today. They looked absolutely beautiful. I walked around on the carpet, and immediately noticed that they weren't as comfortable as I had remembered. The toe box was slightly too narrow, pressing into my little toes. The shoe also didn't support my arch properly, so I started to feel a little bit of strain on my knees and legs. I thought maybe I should size up, but as I continued walking, the pumps started slipping off my feet! I tried wearing them with a pair of socks. Maybe they simply needed to be broken in. Then I noticed the synthetic inner lining was causing my feet to feel hot. With a heavy heart, I've decided to return these beauties. Hopefully someone else will be able to love them.For those of you who still are considering purchasing a pair, I'd suggest you give it a go. The shoes came just as pictured and the quality is quite good considering the price. I liked that the outer soles are made of rubber and that the heels are properly placed underneath the ball of the feet. Although the overall design of these pumps are my ideal, the engineering simply needed a few tweaks. I guess I'll have to keep looking for a pair better suited to me.
I purchased these for my daughter to wear with her FFA uniform. The required shoes she needed have to be a plain black and these are it! She thinks they are very comfortable as she never wears heels except when in uniform.
I love wearing heels, but I hate wearing them for longer than two or three hours. After knowing I would be working on my feet for a few days, I purchased these based on positive reviews. These heels are not too high, and fit just as described without feeling too snug. I love these and wear them so often I'm thinking of buying another pair. These were definitely made for a woman like me who needs extra comfort in her step, and who feels that some fashion is just not worth the pain. They are VERY comfortable to walk in, and feel just as comfortable as many of the flats I own. I will say that although these are my miracle shoes, I start to feel strain just like any other show after 7 hours. Again, this is 7 hours as compared to the pain my poor feet would feel from a three hour wedding. Worth the purchase!
I could barely fit my foot in this shoe. It seems a whole size smaller than it should be. The heel area is very uncomfortable also, very stiff and rubs heels.
