LifeStride Women's Sable, Wild Rice 10 N US - An In-Depth Review

I normally wear a size 7.5 in shoes. I have a medium width foot, however I sometimes look for a wide width in heels to avoid putting any pressure on the joint at the base of my big toe on my right foot because I have a problem with that joint. I ordered these heels in a 7.5 wide. I was surprised when I tried them on the first time that my toes actually felt a little cramped. It’s not unbearable and after a few minutes I don’t even notice it, but I don’t really feel like these shoes are actually a wide width. They are otherwise comfortable, or as comfortable as a heel can be, but if you are looking for a wide width heel, I would recommend you try the extra-wide width in these.They’re nice looking heels with a very classic look. Even though they are made of synthetic material, I don’t feel they look cheap. They seem to be well-made and sturdy and the heel feels solid when I walk in them. The rice color is a good, neutral shade that will match almost anything and the product photos are an accurate representation of what the color looks like in real life. The bottoms are pretty slick at first, but wearing them for one day sufficiently scuffed them so that they felt like they had enough grip.Overall, I’m glad I purchased these heels. Fits a half size large, as I usually wear a 7.5 and this fits in a 7. I love the WW width. I have wide forefeet with bunions and my heels are narrow. This shoe fits like a glove and covers the bunion instead of the edge of the shoe pressing into the top of it. I don't have to use any pads or fitting aids for these pumps. The color is a nice nude neutral and looks great with navy blue, black or jewel tone skirts and pants. The only complaint I have is that they are synthetic leather, and that's why the price point is lower. If they were real leather they would have a higher price, but would last longer. I am just so grateful that LifeStride makes dress shoes in WW for those of us with problem feet!

Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase. The shoes are elegant and complement my needs in terms of neutral pumps.Size:I will second what others have said about these shoes. They run narrow. I have narrow feet and ordered the average width (only option in my size), but I was happy to see that they really do run narrow, so the average width fits. If you normally wear average width and that fits, I would try wide width with these shoes. Length-wise, they are true to size.Comfort:The shoes stay on my feet when I walk so that contributes to comfort. However, there is a pressure point at the toe end, as these are pointy shoes and personally, I have a round toe line. All my other shoes are almond or round toe so I took a risk with this pair. I thought they were not too pointy so they might be OK, but next time I go shopping for pumps, they will be almond or round toe. While not the most comfortable pair of pumps I own, they are wearable for a normal work day (2 or 3 hours standing, some walking). But they are not shoes I would take on a business trip.

I absolutely love these shoes! I needed a low heeled dress shoe for church and special occasions and these are perfect! I wear a 10W and sometimes when I get a shoe that is slightly pointed its too tight across the width of my foot but these fit perfect, not too tight and not too loose. The heel is a good height 2” and it’s not too skinny of a heel so it supports your ankle. I love the cushioned insole of the she as well. I am 5’6” and about 230 lbs so I need a she that’s comfortable and stylish and this is it! You can dress them up by adding a bow or wear the plain! I am buying another pair for sure!

I normally wear a 7 D/W in dress shoes, so that's the size I ordered in these. The width fit more like a M width; so I returned them.Aside from the width issue, they seem to gap at the instep area. The heel was the perfect height though, and the length was ok; there was no cushion at all to the insole. Feels like a cheap pair of shoes.

I had to return the first pair because they ran small...perhaps because of the toe style. The half-size up fits perfectly and the exchange was easy. There was a slight increase in price with the new pair, but they made it an even exchange - how nice is that? I would definitely shop with this vendor again....and my shoes look great!

I bought these shoes because I was going to be taking a dance class. I wanted shoes that I'd likely wear to a wedding or other similar event where dancing would be done hoping to find nice looking as well as comfortable footwear. I was dancing for two hours straight the first time I wore these shoes and have to say...these more than met my expectations! They fit perfectly and were very comfortable. And they are a nice looking and practical pump!

I ordered this shoe because I own more than five pairs of LifeStride shoes and they are a great fit. It was time to upgrade and replace some of those pumps (shoe repairs are no longer an option). This shoe was a new modern style that I thought would work since it was a simple classic pump. This shoe was tight for a medium. I seldom order wide shoes, but I may still reorder this one in a wide since I REALLY liked the style of the shoe. It did not gap in the back of the shoe (like some others that I have tried on lately by another company that usually makes comfortable heels/pumps for women). Thanks LifeStride for making a quality simple, classic timeless pump for a reasonable price that the working woman who wants to look professional can wear with pride!
