Love these. True to size, comfortable and so cute! They are super quiet too so you can sneak up on people haha.
These boots look great and feel fantastic. In my experience, they run a little small. But, still a great boot.
I bought this a couple months ago but I have only worn them once because they are so hard for me to get on due to my wide calves. My husband had to help me put them on and once they were on they were comfortable, I even did a “haunted trail” walk wearing these with no issues but because they take so long to put on and assistance was absolutely necessary to put them on, I haven’t worn them since. Maybe if I lose some weight that will help them fit better or maybe if I wear them a couple more times they will stretch some. These are my 4th pair of knee high boots. In the past I have had 1 pair from Shoe Dept. Encore, 2 from Boscovs and 1 pair from Old Navy (I think these were not wide calf but had a stretchy panel) and those I felt like wearing almost every day after I got them. The point is that while I have tried on wide calf boots before that were not wide enough, my calves aren’t so wide that I haven’t been able to wear at least some wide calf boots in the past. One thing I will say is that for as much as we had to stretch and pull to get these zipped out over my calves, at least they seem to have a good zipper and are made well. I only deducted one star because I feel that these would work great for people that have not as wide calves, but I feel like for being advertised as wide calf, they should be easier for a person with wide calves to wear.
I had a pair of tall black Life Stride boots for 8 years and looked forever to replace them. I finally found a pair! It has been difficult to get just the right calf width - not too tight, but definitely not "wide calf". These have a large elastic section that covers the entire back of the boot. I would prefer it be smaller (for aesthetics), but it helps a lot with giving a sleek fit. I also liked the price - these boots fit and looked better than many more expensive pairs.
Fit is perfect as is, but there is an extra zipper for a wider calf or thick pants. The quality is great and I expect these boots to last a long time. Color is a soft black.
The boots fit great and work with my wide need. I bought these to work my 9-5 bank job and the front part is falling off after 45 days. I can no longer return after 30 days so in my opinion, I wouldn’t buy these again. I am looking to buy Sperry now instead since those last over a year.
I have difficult feet with discomfort of past surgeries and complications yet I don’t feel any pain or discomfort in these boots. Walking is pleasant again!
I guess you get what you pay for, but I've only worn these boots 4 times and the inside lining is already ripping away from the zipper and one of the buckle straps has already broken off. Major bummer. I didn't expect them to last forever, but I did expect to wear them more than 4 times without something breaking.
