I previously had a pair of Tamarac moccasin slippers but lost them, and decided to replace with these. I ordered my regular size 6 and the fit, IMO, is just fine and true to size. Anyone ordering these slippers who is wary of sizing issues should take into consideration that these are lined with synthetic shearling so are likely going to feel a bit tighter than a standard shoe fit in your normal size. Fresh from the box they felt slightly tighter than a normal size 6--not uncomfortably tight--BUT that was to be expected given the shearling lining and I knew going in that these would loosen with repeated wear. I have a pair of synthetic shearling-lined boots from last year that fit far looser now than they did when I ordered them. Also keep in mind, if you are wearing them as house shoes then there shouldn't be as much of an issue with a slightly-tighter-than-usual fit since you are not bound to keep them on your feet all day like you would if at work or away from home. For comparison, the Tamarac slippers I used to have, were also in a size 6. If you check them out, they look almost exactly the same as these slippers, but the Tamaracs fit is MUCH WIDER than a standard size 6 shoe. I am frugal about replacement items if I already have a functioning pair, so I never bothered to replace those. However, having tried the Lamo version of the same slipper, I have to say the Lamo is much more accurate in sizing than what I experienced with Tamarac. The Tamarac pair barely stayed on my feet since they were so wide even though I ordered a standard size 6.I have been wearing the Lamo pair now for around 3 days around the house and they don't feel as tight as they did fresh from the box. They are comfortable and keep my feet very warm, and they have a non-skid rubber bottom that can also be worn outside, though I would not recommend wearing them outside unless you plan to waterproof them with some sort of scotch-guard shoe treatment. Also, I see these are not advertised as "slippers" but that is what I bought them for. I do not plan to wear these outside as day to day shoes. If you are looking for a day to day moccasin to wear outside then these do not seem like a very durable pair of mocs for that purpose. As can be seen from the picture, the bottom is somewhat thin and likely would not hold up to outdoor walking over the long run. However, if you are using these as "slippers" then they should work out just fine. I anticipate getting a lot of wear out of these mocs for the purpose I bought them for.
Ordered a 6. Usually wear a 6/6.5, however these do not come in half sizes and a 6 was recommended. Yes, they are snug when you put them on, but they fit me. Had I ordered a 7, as some reviewers suggested sizing up, my foot would likely have been flopping out of them, especially I expect they will loosen some after wear. The sole is nice enough to wear going out, slip resistent, etc. plus my feet are always cold and the lining is soft and warm. Best of all, they don't hurt my heals. I usually prefer open back shoes because I have such problems with my feet. Before ordering these, I purchased a pair from another brand and they were horrible on the heals for being a soft shoe. These I am happy with.
I love the look and comfort of these slippers. They also seem to be very well made. I ordered a size 9, which is the size I usually wear. When they arrived they were very tight on my feet. I tried wearing them for a few days, hoping they would stretch, but they were just too tight. I ended up giving them to my daughter who wears a size 7 1/2 , and with socks they fit her just fine. I loved the look and feel of the slipper so much that I ordered the same slipper in a size 10, and I love them, I wear them everyday. I highly recommend this slipper, but you probably should order a size larger than you usually wear.
This is not the same shoe that I've been ordering for the past few years. It's a different looking shoe which I might have been able to live with but it also fits much more narrowly. I ended up ordering 3 different sizes a 7, 8 and 9 and none of them fit. I normally wear a 7 or 7.5. I ordered the 9 at first because I saw that in the past I had multiple orders trying to get the right size. But was too large, so was the 8. It slips off my heel like a flip flop. The 7 is too tight and rubs blisters. They wouldn't let me return any of them because it was outside of the 30 day window. Which is obviously bad customer service. I was planning to return only 2 of the 3 sizes purchased. This was once a good company, but no more. Sadly, I will not be back.
These were ok. Made well but on the thinner side for fitting. After wearing them I felt like I was wearing vice grips on my feet.
For the price, these moccasins are quite nice. I took heed of the other reviewers and ordered the next size up and they fit perfectly. The workmanship is very nice and the blue color is nice. I always like to have a pair of these handy as I'm home a lot and can't stand putting on a pair of outdoor shoes for just wearing around the house and yet, I'm not wild about wearing a too soft house shoe. These fit the bill perfectly. They are an inside shoe and therefore don't have a strong arch support that you would find in a regular shoe but then I knew they would be like this and it's perfectly fine with me as I have no problem with my arches. The sole is thinner that what I expected but in saying that, it works well enough for me to go out onto our porches, deck, garage and basement without having to change shoes. Even though I could, I don't think that I'll wear them out on the lawn as they weren't quite made for that. They are suede and I've found that if they get a spot on them or get to looking a little dirty, I just take a slightly damp sponge to them and then let them air dry. They look as good as new.The soft fleece interior is snugly warm and will be great for winter weather. I find that they are very well made and exactly what I was looking for.
I wear depending on the brand a size 6/12-7, and the 7 is what I purchased. It is snug, but once the shoes are broken in they fit well and are comfortable to walk in. Overall very cute, good insulation, and very good quality for the price.
I am typically size 8.5 so I rounded up and got size 9 based on other reviews. They fit snugly, but that’s mostly because of the fluffy lining. I know from experience that the fluff will compress with time, giving my toes a little more wiggle room. The moccs are beautiful and look well-made. They will certainly keep my feet warm this winter.
