Omgsh I’m glad I orders these shoes. I stand for hours and I’m waking all day long and wearing regular shoes causes severe heel pain. My coworkers sworn by that these were the best shoes and they were right. A lot of support, comfortable, and waterproof. Love them I think I’ve be ordering these for work only from now on.
Leather is durable. I don't have to wax the shoe very often. The insole comes out in case you need to use your own. I can walk in these shoes all day. Standing still is not as easy. But all in all, the shoe works well, even in water. I have high arches and it fits well.
So I bought some leather shoes from a competitor and they were agonizingly painful. So I was skeptical of these as they are clearly plastic. I have really bad feet from decades of retail plus ballet. We’re talking plantar fasciitis, bone spurs, and for fun wicked high arches. I also have wide feet so most shoes squeeze and hurt. These wwre so comfortable from second one, I mean I did not have to break these shoes in at all. So comfy. I highly recommend them. Plus, look how cute these are!!!
These are my second pair. I use them daily for work and the first pair lasted a couple of years. I have also converted several people to switch over from Dansko’s and they are happy.
The shoe would have been great... EXCEPT for the fact that it was way too big. I'm a size 9. I ordered a 9. I received a shoe marked as a 9. When I put the shoe on, my foot was easily able to slide back and forth, heel-to-toe, by an inch. When I walked in the shoe, the heel flopped as if I were wearing a flip flop. With each step, the heel of my foot and the shoe separated so much that only about 3mm of my heel remained in the shoe. If I wore these shoes for any meaningful length of time, they'd abrase my feet to the point of rubbing my skin raw because there is so much movement of my foot in the shoe. The width of the shoe was perfect. The footbed was extremely comfortable. The length of the shoe was FAR TOO LONG heel-to-toe. It will be returned. I ordered a closed-toe, closed-heel shoe yet these behave like a floppy sandal. This pair of shoes seems to be a factory reject. Is Amazon selling factory seconds that failed quality control measures? It appears so.
I really love this shoe but it runs large. I take a 7 Wide in Eastland, New Balance, Clark’s, Naturalizers, Sketcher’s, etc. However, I had to return these shoes because they were HUGE! My foot slid down into toe box and left an inch gap in the heel. I did exchange for a size 7 Medium and I’m hoping they fit. They are so nice looking.
