I’ve been looking for a pair of heels I could wear to fancier events. This Kenneth Cole Reaction mix x band jewel platform heels is exactly what I needed. I usually wear a women’s size 6 for heels so I went with my usual sizing and the fit was slightly loose. I’ll probably add some cushion pads to the back of the heel area to help reduce the gap, since going down a size would be too tight. Even with the slightly loose fit these heels are very comfortable to walk in. The thicker square heels provide the stability I need. The ankle strap is a nice addition and doesn’t dig into my ankle when I walk. The touch of sparkle from the sequins make these heels perfect for a night out or for a formal event.
I am not a heels girl but needed a nice pair to wear to a wedding. These are about as comfortable as heels can get and are very easy to walk in thanks to the comfortable ankle strap and wide blocky heel. For somebody like me who wears tennis shoes or birks most of the time, the toes felt a bit pinched but I don't think that's an issue with the shoe. The sparkle adds a very festive flair to these shoes and makes them great for winter parties.
The glittery x-band across the bed of this shoe gives it a high class elegant look, and the low block heel feels steady and relatively comfortable. I have a moderately-wide foot and I'm generally a solid size 9. I got this shoe in Size 9, and was able to get my foot into this shoe, and although it was not uncomfortable, my foot looked smooshed up and without definition. The ankle strap is a bit shorter than most, and it took a few tries to get it buckled. For these reasons, these shoes may not be the best choice for ladies with wider feet and/or ankles.
These heels are surprisingly comfortable and easy to walk in! I hate wearing dress shoes and kick them off as soon as I can, but these stayed on my feet all night at a wedding with no issues. They were smartly designed for comfort while looking stylish. They have good arch support and cushion at the heels and pads of the feet. Nothing digs in or rubs the foot. The heel is square and chunky so it's very easy to walk on. The straps are not stiff and are softer on the underside. The bottoms have ridges so I wasn't slipping on the shiny tiled floor. They fit perfectly in my normal size. I'm really impressed with these shoes and I'm definitely keeping this brand in mind next time I need dress shoes because I don't like torturing my feet!
