After buying 8 boots and trail shoes FINALLY I found my unicorn. So comfortable and is totally still trail tough. Going to buy a second pair. Size seemed small at first but after one week they loosen up and fit perfect. They look amazing too. There is a fancy heel lock technique designed in the boot.
These are the best hiking boots I’ve worn! They are lightweight, sturdy and comfortable plus waterproof. Good on rocky terrain and pavement. Would definitely recommend.
These are good looking, light and comfortable boots. What's missing - the classic Keen wide toe box. I wouldn't say these are narrow, but definitely not spacious. They are for a narrow/average foot. My feet are narrow, but I like to wear toe separators, and with these, my feet don't get enough width. Another downside - the sole. These boots don't have a classic, sturdy Keen sole. The sole is light, making the boot light, but also easily collapsible and will not provide a long-lasting support for those who pronate.Returning mine. I was looking for something similar to Keen Durand, and these are definitely not.
I read the other reviews that said to size up. I disagree. I ordered a 9.5 when I usually wear a 9 and while it still fits, it's too large and I'm certain a 9 would've been perfect. However, I was still able to wear the boots and used them for a 10-day trip to Peru hiking for up to five hours almost daily. They didn't give me blisters or make my feet sore. Stepping in puddles didn't make my feet wet. I was in all kinds of climates, from jungle heat to Andean cool and the boots didn't get too hot or too cold. I wore them with finely woven alpaca socks I bought and they were great. Of note, I use orthotics and it was easy to remove the meager Keen insoles to replace with my orthotics.
Love the shoe, don't love constant returns.. green are 9 black are 9.5... black is smaller!!! Happening g a lot. .. A LOT!!! 6th return. But the shoe is Hella comfy and waterproof
Super lightweight. I feel like I’m walking on clouds. So confortable I want to use them for everday activities because they feel like a running shoe in terms of comfort, stability and support.Water doesn’t seep in easily. Easy to wash mud off. Insole is removable for cleaning. Will buy again once I beat these up, but so far they still look great after several muddy hikes.
Bought these before heading to Sedona and I was pleasantly surprised. They fit exactly as expected, even with wool socks. I had never worn them prior to hiking in Sedona and they did not give me blisters and caused no irritation. These held up in the snow, ice, dirt, and mud. I wore them in the Dolomites, Italy following this which had a whole different type of terrain as well. Following that trip, we hiked in Madeira, Portugal which was more of a beach type terrain. These boots have handled all of those situations with ease. I constantly get complimented on the looks of these boots as they are neutral. The material makes them easy to wash and dry following a more wet hike. These are great for the cost and hold up well! Highly recommend.
Although these seem to have good reviews, they didn’t work for me. The first thing I noticed was that they do NOT have the roomy toe box that Keen is known for. My foot measurements are just a hair over a size 8, so I ordered a 9 & my toes immediately felt squished almost touching the end. So uncomfortable right out of the box. Sizing is definitely off on these.
