These are some of my favorite work boots for wood shop use. They’re light, breathable, comfortable and offer great support! I live in GA and I love being able to fold them down to wear with shorts on those hot humid days. This is my second pair, the first lasted me about a year and a half of every day heavy use.
I bought this pair of boots for my husband and he thoroughly enjoys them! He loves the support that he gets from them and he raves about the sturdiness in this pair of boots which is what he needs, thank you for a trustworthy pair of boots!
I used these boots for long walks on different types of terrain and they work great.
My boot choices are limited due to a size 14 EEEE. I find boots I like only to find the largest size is 13. I wanted a light weight work boot and started my best blah blah blah search and many times it came up “Keen” so when I found these on Amazon they were $149.00. I searched best price and they were same price everywhere, so I put them in my save for later list. Every now and then I go through that list to see if any prices have changed and lo and behold the price changed to $71.00, WOW, I purchased immediately. Two days later they arrived, I put them on that morning and wore them all day, no break in necessary. They are a tall boot but the upper is a nice canvas so even laced up snug they do not limit ankle movement. All in all I love these boots. If I had paid the $149.00 I’d still be happy with this purchase but at $71.00…bingo!
Keene wide boots always seem to fit great, so tried this prior to a 10 day trip to the desert and wore them most days. The sole is great for the thorny bushes, excellent traction, and the canvas tops provided great ankle support. If you ever wore jungle boots in the military, these would be the perfect upgrade to those. At the end of the day, the ability to fold them down and get some air into them works great. The canvas cleaned very well with compressed air.Adding some Sno Seal to the canvas to help it shed water.
Great boot for warmer weather. I'm a landscaper and my first pair lasted about 8 months. Just ordered a replacement pair. They're not as durable or protective as a heavy pair of leather boots, but are way more breathable, lighter, and more comfortable. Obviously not waterproof, but I've found that my feet stay dryer overall because they're not sweating in hot non-breathable leather all day. (I have second pair of leather Keen carbon fiber toe boots for colder weather, rainy days, or heavier duty work).
Bought these Keen boots in July and wore them maybe 10 times and the heel is coming apart from the sole. Otherwise a great boot.
I selected a half size down from my usual Keen size (10.5 ordered a 10). The fit was right on, and the shoes are comfortable. I wish they had speed lacers near the top of the boot, instead of all eye holes.
