expensive but worth it. hi tech comfort and amazing durability. Best pair of shoes I ever owned. I walk a lot....I mean a lot. Lasted nearly two years now. Good looking too, amazing how people notice your shoes.
Favorite boots thus far and I have worn many. They are a tad heavy but you'll get used to it and it makes up for the weight in comfort, protection and durability. I don't get any of the ankle rub or upper lace rub others have mentioned. I love putting them on each morning and I have not babied them at all and they are hanging tough. I'm a Keen convert and have already bought more of their boots and will continue to do so, especially the USA versions that help support fellow Americans. Keep making great boots!
I’ve worn the same pair of Keen boots for about 6 years. They have been fantastic, but the time came to get some new work boots. You can see some of the eyelets broke apart. That’s no reflection on quality. That’s bound to happen if you wear the same boots for years. They have been the most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn.So naturally when it came time for a new pair, I chose Keen. I am extremely happy with my new boots. They feel just as good as my old pair. Here’s to six more years!
Boots look great! First step inside, and the feel was comfy and soft. Tied the boots and something was stabbing my angle on the left side of the right boot. Foot was hurting during my first wear, but that went away before the first hour at work. Besides that the boots are great! Unfortunately that stabbing is still there, but seems to disappear within the first work hour. My last Keens left a scar on my foot.
Love keen boots. Been wearing keen for 4 years now. This is my first pair of Troy's I was wearing the dover 6" and loved them but thought I would try something new and I can say I really like these. The dovers always gave out at the seem were your foot bends on the side so I would only get about a year out of them so I think they have solved that problem with these. I guess only time will tell but I love them so far.
My son loves these boots and I would have rated them a 5. BUT, I bought these for my son in February and o e of the hook / eyelets broke off. The Keen website days they have a 1 yr guarantee but to contact the seller first. So what can be done to fix the boots? Please let me know. Thank you.
I was a Wolverine fan for the longest time. But they alway came apart where the sewed seam was. I bought the original flex toe keen (don’t remember the name right now and I’m too lazy to look it up) and they lasted just over a year before the sole started to separate. They were the first pair of work boots that have ever lasted me more than 6 months.The flex design is genius. I was afraid that it would be a weak spot for any kind of shape objects but it proved to be more durable than the leather at times. Very little break in required. The inserts are not horrible (are any that come with work boots really any good?), but I have bad foot pain and wear prescription inserts. My feet hurt less with these on than off.You will not be disappointed in them. The price may be steep but your feet will love you for it.
