Its hard to spend this much money on something I know is going to get destroyed eventually - but these are some of the most comfortable boots I have ever put on.Great ankle support and traction. The leather and stitching hold up to heavy abuse (professional landscaper, and I wear them when I volunteer for disaster response).Hard to imagine me going with a different brand ever again.
Very comfortable and true to size. I don't wear them much because they are too warm for me. I used to get cold feet, but that just doesn't seem to happen to me anymore. Don't know why. I will wear them if I need to stand outside, but mostly I'm moving and my feet stay warm as long as they're dry. If your feet get cold, I think these would work for you even though they're not overly insulated.
Ive tried them for 1st time for only one day. PROS: They are comfortable and overall heavy duty, i feel well protected. My job is concrete pumping.Nice thick cousion for good ankle support, and impact.Great support and traction on rough terrain over dirt, rocks, and wet smooth concrete. I love the big loop on back off boot to grab and pull onto feet, HUGE help. My other boots did not have that. And love the hole in lace hooks to string them through so they stay on the upper part of laces allowing me to keep laces a little loose for mobility and breathability.CONS: very hot even though not insulated, and composite toe. i live in florida its always hot here, lol. If they were steel toe it would be even hotter but they are not. Heavy weight. So far i would buy again but need more testing.
Be prepared, these boots don't break in like normal boots. And if your not super careful you'll get your feet wet. The boots tongue is not fully sealed up the height of the boot( bad Keen). Other than that great work boots
Very comfortable and the waterproofing is great but within a week one of the top eyelets broke. I run alot at work and like my boots tight. Fits perfect and everything else is amazing, just sucks when you spend $200 on boots and somthing breaks within a week
Tearing up. Ridiculous. We put SO much time and effort into researching the proper boot for my husbands job conditions and durability per the job. This one fit the bill. But in reality, FAILED MISERABLY! R. I. P. $300. 0 stars
I've worn them all. From redwings to milspec.Im very impressed with these boots. I've purchased them several times (over the last few years) and they always wear well right out of the box. The toes hold up very well for someone who kneels often at work. Tread is aggressive, but not so much that dirt sticks to them and you track it everywhere.I would say that they're water resistant so long as you're don't step in water above the toe. Obviously if you tromp around in water all day long you're going to incur water regardless. get some muck boots if that's the case. The only thing i will say is that they seem to run small. so order at least 1/2 size larger than your normal boot.
The boot fits well and last a long time. Like most boots, the shoestrings last about 6 months before needing replaced. There is no break in time needed. They fit great from day 1
