The design of the KEEN Utility Philadelphia boots showcases a blend of functionality and style. The full-grain leather is not only aesthetically pleasing but also built to withstand tough working conditions. The Goodyear welt construction adds an extra layer of durability, ensuring these boots will last through years of use.
When it comes to comfort, these boots shine with a removable footbed that provides ample cushioning. The KEEN Luftcell air-infused midsole further enhances comfort while reducing the overall weight of the footwear. However, some users may find the fit a bit snug at first, especially if you have wider feet. It's recommended to try them with appropriate work socks.
Safety is paramount when working in hazardous environments, and the composite toe offers an excellent alternative to traditional steel toes. It provides reliable protection without the added weight. Additionally, the slip resistance and oil resistance of the outsole give you peace of mind when navigating slippery surfaces.
The KEEN.DRY membrane does an outstanding job of keeping moisture at bay while still allowing your feet to breathe. This feature is crucial for maintaining comfort during long shifts.

I've worn them all. From redwings to milspec.Im very impressed with these boots. I've purchased them several times (over the last few years) and they always wear well right out of the box. The toes hold up very well for someone who kneels often at work. Tread is aggressive, but not so much that dirt sticks to them and you track it everywhere.I would say that they're water resistant so long as you're don't step in water above the toe. Obviously if you tromp around in water all day long you're going to incur water regardless. get some muck boots if that's the case. The only thing i will say is that they seem to run small. so order at least 1/2 size larger than your normal boot.
Very comfortable and true to size. I don't wear them much because they are too warm for me. I used to get cold feet, but that just doesn't seem to happen to me anymore. Don't know why. I will wear them if I need to stand outside, but mostly I'm moving and my feet stay warm as long as they're dry. If your feet get cold, I think these would work for you even though they're not overly insulated.
Ive tried them for 1st time for only one day. PROS: They are comfortable and overall heavy duty, i feel well protected. My job is concrete pumping.Nice thick cousion for good ankle support, and impact.Great support and traction on rough terrain over dirt, rocks, and wet smooth concrete. I love the big loop on back off boot to grab and pull onto feet, HUGE help. My other boots did not have that. And love the hole in lace hooks to string them through so they stay on the upper part of laces allowing me to keep laces a little loose for mobility and breathability.CONS: very hot even though not insulated, and composite toe. i live in florida its always hot here, lol. If they were steel toe it would be even hotter but they are not. Heavy weight. So far i would buy again but need more testing.
So far they are fine.
I had bigger expectations from such an expensive brand, first month of using it in construction, and on my farm, and the grey rubber pieces on the bottom soles started falling, now I see deep cracks in the soft Eva sides of the soles. Will definitely return them before return expiration time.
Tearing up. Ridiculous. We put SO much time and effort into researching the proper boot for my husbands job conditions and durability per the job. This one fit the bill. But in reality, FAILED MISERABLY! R. I. P. $300. 0 stars
This shoe is really good. I work in construction so I have to walk on sharp rocks, concrete, hot asphalt and so on. It has lasted really well so far. The waterproofing is amazing. This was a major concern to me when I was first looking to buy this shoe but it turned out to be great. I may be hard to believe but I have walked in water that reaches above to shoe and my foot still stays completely dry. Overall a really good shoe.
The boot fits well and last a long time. Like most boots, the shoestrings last about 6 months before needing replaced. There is no break in time needed. They fit great from day 1
