The comfort level of the KEEN Utility Kansas City Low Height Boots is remarkable, thanks to the KEEN.ReGEN technology that gives you 50% more energy return compared to traditional EVA foams. This makes a significant difference if you’re on your feet all day. The addition of a removable PU insole allows for customizing your fit based on personal preference.
In terms of support, the KONNECTFIT heel-capture system locks your heel in place for added security while walking or climbing. Furthermore, the KEEN.BELLOWS FLEX technology permits impressive flexibility, making your movements feel natural rather than restricted.
When it comes to traction, the boot excels with its oil- and slip-resistant outsoles, assuring a safe experience even in challenging conditions. The non-marking feature means you can also wear them indoors without worry about damaging floors.
Lastly, regarding safety, the asymmetrical composite toe meets stringent ASTM F2412 and F2413 standards, keeping your toes protected without the added weight of steel. This makes it a great choice for those needing durable yet lightweight footwear.

Edited to add, after 4 months and 40-50hrs/week, they're holding up. My only complaint being that the interior where your heel is on the back of the shoe is already wearing away. And I estimate these shoes might have another 3-6 months in them at most. I DO think they're a bit spendy for what they are. AT $160 I expect better construction. Keens definitely aren't the same shoe they were 10 years ago. But, this shoe is comfortable right out of the box. And have really felt great. I did buy a backup pair, but not until they lowered the price.8-10 hours on cement warehouse floors 5 days a week. These do well. The toe cap isn't too heavy and meets safety regulations. They're supportive without being stiff. And 3 months in, 8 miles a day walking, they're holding up well. Definitely worth it.
These safety shoes look sleek and nice, so high five to Keen! But unfortunately, the toe box is narrow. However, I will say that they're true to size (and width, too). It has a snug fit to it, and the insoles are very basic, so there's nothing special about that. The midsole of these shoes is pretty nice (probably the only thing I like about them). It's got good cushioning to it and has a spongy feel to it. Also, the laces are kind of short once you tie them up.That's all I have to say about this review. Again, I just wish these shoes had a wider toe box. These shoes aren't terrible at all; I just think they're not the right shoes for me.
This is my Third pair, They last about Two Years!!
I've been buying keen shoes for several years for work use. I work 12 plus hours a day and walk over 15 miles during those shifts each day. The quality of this brand has shown to be superior to a few other close competitors. I'll continue to recommend Keen for the foreseeable future.
Extremely comfortable even while on concrete floors 10.5 hrs long daily!
Husband loves new work shoes! Very comfortable
They fit perfectly for my wide legs
