The composite toe adds an extra layer of protection without the weight burden of steel toes, making it ideal for workers who need to keep their feet safe and agile.

These boots are perfect. After buying Redwings for years, I finally decided to try a pair of Keens. These are the best boots I've owned, period. I normally wear a size 12 (actually EU 46 is perfect fit for me). Normal to slightly wide foot. The king toe in Redwings with normal width works good for me.Anyway, I decided to go up 1/2 size & ordered a 13 normal width. The boot as shipped was slightly loose, but I put in a pair of (Redwing - cause I had them :) ) insoles and they are now perfect fit & super cushy.Wore them for the first time last night on the ship (steel deck, water, grease, etc) and my feet were SO happy. Warm, dry, comfy. The only negative was that when I was breaking them in for a couple of hours doing chores around the house, I noticed a pressure on my foot, forward & upward of my ankle. This is where the tongue tucks under the boot. I found a hard, almost pea sized knot at the end of the seam. Took my trusty pliers & squeezed it down good & hard to flatten out the end of the seam. Perfect. Then wearing them last night, didn't even notice, all good.
Love the fit and comfort. The quality is outstanding. I am in these boots at least 10hrs day. I'll be getting another pair when these are in need of replacement. That will be my 3rd pair.
Any pair of shoes and/or boots that you get that claim to be waterproof and they're made from leather means that they are periodical waterproof. What I mean by that is that you can't have constant water on any leather product and expected not to fail over time. But as far as leather waterproof boots go Keen have to be the best I've worn. Please don't misunderstand me. They are waterproof. You just can't keep them submerged in water for hours on end without leather beginning to deteriorate. That's why they don't make wetsuits out of leather. Keen boots are the best boots I've ever worn. I normally go through a pair of boots in about 3 to 4 months. With keen boots I get a year sometimes even longer. You get what you pay for with these guys.
I purchased these boots over 2 years ago. They are still comfortable and still in great condition.I can wear them going through TSA Pre at the airport security in USA since they are composite type, without setting off the metal detector.I had to replace the laces after about 1.5 years of daily use.
Insulated durable and light. Fit was right size.
These boots are fabulous. Very comfortable. Keen really makes a great product. This is the most money I'vepaid for work boots but definitely worth it.
Not true to size
This was interesting. We were replacing a favorite pair of boots. We got the same sku and size as the previously purchased aged pair and for some reason these new ones of the same size were too small. So, one of these that the review is for initially had to go back. Second pair was shipped promptly and they fit. My husband loves them. I hope they continue to make this model!!
