I’ve worn Keen boots for years. Unlike some boots, Keen boots feel great the first time you wear them. I don’t wear in the mud and water or heavy construction…. But wear every day and a pair lasts 1-2 years. Great boot
I have a high arch and fat foot. These were comfortable the first time i put them on. I am a very picky when it come to any shoes and I am very hard on them. Between the snow, ice, mud, cow crap, grease, oil and everything else I am in I need a quality shoe. I farm, ranch and do most all of my home and farm repairs in many awkward positions that i need to get the job done. They are light weight enough to not cause problems with my knees that I've had worked on. Ive had these just over a month and so far so good. I will come back and update the review after a few more months.
I’m a eleven and these fit well and I’m not sausage stuffed. I could wear a heavy sock and be well fitted. They have a lot of give and while walking I could feel the cushiness the insoles were providing as well as the rubber outer soles. They don’t feel instantly broke in but probably a week of wearing and the break-in would be complete. They have good grip and they laced up easily. I wish the laces were thicker and more robust. They just felt like they were going to snap every time I tightened them. It’s a small thing compared to the plenty of good things about these construction set of boots. The stitching throughout the boots are consistent and straight with no manufacturing errors to be found. I’m guessing that they are mostly glued and maybe with nails because I don’t see and stitching holding them together. I could easily wear these as a daily shoe. They are not to heavy and have ankle protection on each side. I feel they wear well and my hands on inspection I’m satisfied with the quality of what I know about them. Wear and time will tell the tale of longevity so as they get worn by me the boots will tell me their story. I may update with good or bad if needed. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!
Bought as a gift for my Son who works in Construction. He said that they are the Best boots the he has ever had. Very comfortable.
Ordered an 11, normal KEEN size, before I remembered these were Not Steel Toe and, usual 10 1/2 would have been fine. I was wrong. Needed to up half size, even in a soft toe.Really comfy shoe. Comfy enough to fall asleep in after 1st try.Good grip. Breathes well.Could wear for work or casual, cold weather boot. However, the finish does not look like leather.Has that almost Pleather look to it.Kind of disappointed at KEEN bc their stuff always looks good in Quality. If I saw this in a store, would keep on walking. Even as a KEEN Loyalist. The 'Chicago" is on the border of something that looks like KEEN quality but,not at over 100 bucks. Would def lean towards Timberland, or Red Wing, if I had to choose.Don't know if I call this a KEEN fail but, without the KEEN tag would think it was a Sears brand boot.
Wow! These are comfortable right out of the box, no break in period needed. Comfort, support and very light weight. Will have to wait to see durability otherwise it would have been all five stars!
Very uncomfortable
Been wearing for a couple of months now. Seem to be holding up and still comfy. Hope they last at least a year for the money, time shall tell
