I thought Justin boots were just for crazy horse people who wear excessively bedazzled jeans...sorry but you know the type. However I decided to try them because I was looking for a steel toed boot to wear while I cut, split and stacked wood and these seemed to fit the bill. I've worn them in summer as an easy slip on, slip off garden shoe, while driving the lawnmower, walking the dog down to the lake. I've raked leafs, shoveled the driveway in them, even out on the ice playing boot hockey. Rain, snow, mud, hot, cold my boots have seen it all and then some. Bottom line, these are year round, all weather, all job boots that you will love. Worth every dollar! They are lightweight, waterproof, sturdy, comfortable and cute (because let's face it, just because we work like a man doesn't mean we can't look like a lady!) I will buy another pair IF this pair ever wears out.
These boots are 100% what I wanted, great color, fit and style. I found the exact same pair at a boot store I live by but for $40 more! I am glad that I was able to find them on amazon. They seem to be waterproof, however, I only walked in small puddles and dewy grass. The were immensely comfortable I was able to wear them for hours right out of the box These are exactly what i was looking for in a workbook: not to thick in the soul and very flexible yet strong enough to withstand the work that I do.
I just got these and wore them all day while I was cleaning house, running errands and walking the dog and my feet still felt good in the evening. I absolutely love the design and the colors, looks good with skirts or jeans. I'm 43, and these are age-appropriate boho. They were ever-so-slightly tight across the widest part of my foot with my SmartWool socks, but I have Flintstone feet that are widest across my rather short toes. They loosened up within a day and were otherwise very comfortable right out of the box. I normally can't wear pointy toed shoes due to my wedge shaped feet, and the square toe on these is perfect. These are my new favorites!
I'm giving this 4 stars for now. Has the potential to go either way at this point.My order arrived quickly. And unlike a few others, my order was correct. (The boots I ordered, weeks the boots in was shipped)The boots look just like the picture, maybe even better than expected. They appear well made and are really pretty. I like the height of the shaft. Some others hit me at a weird height on my leg, but these are just right.I followed the size chart to determine my size for this order, and for the most part, they fit as expected. The toe seems a little wide in this shoe though. Like I have a little too often much room there. It took some getting used to, but I don't think it will be a big deal. They are a little tight over the bridge of my foot though. Not narrow, but the top of the shoe, rubs the top.of my foot a little. I hope this improves with wear, as they aren't the most comfortable at the moment. I also.thought they came with a removable insole, which they do not. Not sure what the 'j-flex comfort system" is, but I don't feel like mine have it. LolThey aren't terrible, but right now, I wouldn't want to wear these of I had to be on my feet all day.So, overall a good buy. Especially for the money. These boots are stylish, yet efficient. They have a good sole for traction, pull on easy, and come in alot of different designs. I'm going to keep the 4 star review until I can report back after wearing them a while. Hopefully they just need a bit of "breaking in".
I can wear two brands of shoes now! My usuals are Birkenstocks because I have neuroma in one foot and they put no pressure on it but they don't work for snow country so I tried these boots. I am in love with them. They are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned and I will wear them until there is nothing left and then I will most definitely buy a new pair. I highly recommend Justin brand boots. They took no time to "break in" and I have worn them everyday, all day for about a month now and have no complaints. Plus they are gorgeous! They are pricey but the quality is exceptional and completely worth the price as I expect they will last me a couple of years at least.
Best boot I have ever owned, have had them for almost a year and a half now! Usually get blisters when first breaking in new boots, but no problem with these. Still have help up extremely well, I wear them about 3 times a week and they still look and feel great. I use them for hunting, outdoor/barn work around the house and have the nice looks to wear with a nice pair of jeans when I'm going out, very versatile. Size is true to fit, if you have arch problems you will need arch supports for these boots because they really have none. Other then that I love Justin boots!
These boots are awesome! I have bought 4 pair of boots and returned them all. these are keepers. They are comfortable and cute as can be. I bought them for the barn to work with horses and have gotten water and all kinds of goodies on them and they look great. They break in easy and the square toe is really comfortable. I have a big foot...size 10 and these are true to size, I could wear them all day.
I grew up in the country but I never really wore country gear until this last couple years. I have been going to more country music festivals, and going to rodeos and I finally decided I needed to get a good pair of cow girl boots to wear out and not just wear my dirty old boots. I will say that these came just as they are pictured, the stitching detail is amazing. I did have to take about a week to break them in and get them to where they need to be but afterwards the square toe is awesome and I am now walking in them very comfortably. From what I have seen they are constructed very well and everyone says that this brand will last for a very long time if taken care of. I am very excited to have these now in my wardrobe and be able to wear them to all sorts of festivals and events. I do not plan on wearing these for any real riding, I have my other boots for that, but I may once these become a bit dirty for now they are just for show. I would recommend these to anyone who loves cow girl boots as much as I do!
