Always the same. Fit just right
Recently the side seam gave out on my Justin 4760 work boots after 15 years of wear in construction and everyday use. I was surprised to find the same style and color still available on Amazon.Com and ordered replacement boots in same size. When they arrived, they were really tight, so I returned them and ordered a half size larger than my original. These fit perfect and are as comfortable as the ones I enjoyed for the past 15 years. Using Sno-Seal keeps my feet dry and comfortable. Best boots I've ever owned.
Great boots! I’ve had several pair in the last 25 years. Wish Justin would start making them again. The replacement model is horrible!
I wanted something that I could wear as a true work boot. These are just about too nice to get dirty. I took one star for being a little tight for 2E, but I would give it a 4.5 if I could. They are comfortable, and while I wore them around the house trying them out, I found they were going to be a little warmer than I had hoped, but what did I expect from a pair of boots, right. The cushioning is great, and the heal is very stable. I wish I had gone with a waterproof pair now that I have gotten these, but that is not a design issue, just not good decision making on my part.
These are work boots with black rubber soles so they're not for dress, but very nice looking for casual wear just running around town. The insoles are nicely cushioned with great support for all-day comfort. I wear a size 13 and they fit perfectly. The picture makes it look like they have a little nap to the leather, and I guess they do a little, but that disappears as soon as you apply your favorite paste or boot oil. Picture is pretty accurate as far as color but, if you want to keep them that way, don't oil them as they will darken and stay that way. Not a problem for me, I like them just as well a little darker.
These are no doubt a great boot . But they are not the same as the previous pair I once owned ! Style 4760 is still made in the USA . Thats a huge plus !!! Did anyone else notice the style was changed a bit ?? #1-The leather does not seem as 'tough' as they once were and #2 - the bottm soles have been changed. (my older pair has like a sort of 'cut-out' sole on the bottoms of heel and ball ) its hard to explain !! Now the soles are just flat . If you google these Justin Boots (4760) and look at the images , you can see the difference of what I'm talking about . Anyway - I just hope that Justin Boot Company is not skimping on the material ! Also- my older pair does not have the words 'Patent Pending' scribed on the bottom soles. (Whats that all about )? And does anyone know if these can be leather/water proofed ,without damaging the boot ????
My husband has worn these boots by Justin for the 14 years I've known him. He ordered a second pair to keep nice for special occasions. He swears the minute he puts them on, straight out of the box, they are comfortable. He wears them everyday for work.
The stove pipes where you put in your feet are extremely small. Can barely get them on or off. Also man made construction of the stove pipes. They are supposed to all leather. I am done with Justin boots . Second pair that were cheaply made. The price still goes up though.
