Bought these for an upcoming trip to Mexico. They are quite comforatble and the straps are soft feeling and not tight. The strap closest to the ankle is far enough back that you can walk without feeling like you have to curl your toes to keep the back of the heel from slapping up against your heel with each step like most slide style shoes. The heel is only 2" so it will be a nice shoe to walk around in. I usually wear a size 9, got the size 9 and they fit perfectly.
