Comfortable, well-made, stylish. I buy them because they're wedges which help my posture/bad back.
So very comfortable!
I purchased these and was very pleased that the fit is just right. The leather is soft, good fit and good arch support. They look good with jeans or your favorite cords!
I ordered a size 11, and my foot could barely fit in. Compared to other shoes I have, this one is about 3/4” shorter in length.
These are my favorite shoes ever .... My previous pair of Josef Seibel mules have started to wear out so I purchased these to replace them . I have been wearing my last pair ( for over 10 years .... no kidding... wear ... polish ... repeat) This is the best brand I have ever worn. They literally never wear out. When I say I wore these for 10 year I mean fall, winter and spring probably 3-5 times a week. Anyway I just received these a couple days ago and have worn them all day and they feel great. I LOVE .... LOVE ... LOVE ... these shoes . I will be purchasing a brown pair soon. I would recommend these to anyone wanting a comfortable , durable pair of shoes that last. They aren't cheap but they are well worth the money and certainly aren't any more expensive then many shoes that don't have nearly the quality of these !!!!
I had to return these shoes and, it was hard to believe they were actually Joseph Seibel shoes. The footbed was very hard with no cushioning at all. Also, the hard footbed made them very slippery to wear with socks . Some people might not mind this but I did. The leather, if it was leather was very hardI really liked the style and the fit was perfect. I was so disappointed in these shoes and returned them with regret that they weren't what I expected
I purchased a pair of red and blue. The red is as pictured, the blue is very dark, looks black actually. I received a lot of compliments on the red ones, it's just an unexpected, rich red that gives it a quality look and it goes so well with a pair of boot cut jeans. They are very comfortable and I find that after wearing them all day my feet (and I have plantar fascitis) hardly hurt at all (when with other shoes I would be in terrible pain). Be advised that the same shoe, in the same size might feel 1/2 size different. The first pair of blue ones I got felt like a 39 1/2. I bought the same shoe, in the same color, and they fit like a comfortable 40. The only explanation I could come up with is that they are handmade so they might vary slightly in size and fit. Well worth the buy!
Arch support could be bette, but as a RN standing for long periods, I have found that I have less foot pain in these shoes than any of the multiple types of shoes that I tried. I actually bought these originally years ago in brown to wear with jeans but after developing plantar fascitis I tried everything. Finally I wore the brown shoes to work. They were amazing for my feet. I ordered them in black. They are the same great shoes. Be careful with the sizing though. It said the conversion for a 37 is size 6-6.5 but it is really more like 6.5 to 7. I wear a 37 and a 7. It is not a sizing issue but rather an issue with a faulty description.
