I wore Josef Seibel shoes decades ago and loved them. These looked nice, so I tried them. Bought my usual size 10. In most shoes, like Merrell, I wear 10.5/42, but in J.S., I wear the 10. They fit nicely everywhere but in the heel, which makes my foot slip just a little, even in socks. What is super annoying is that the insole (or lining on the footbed) wants to come out with one's foot, doesn't seem well attached at all. If one doesn't wear socks, it will easily stick to the feet. I may try a shoe insert to see if it will sit more firmly in there. Otherwise, seems like good quality, real leather, and fairly comfortable. Just overpriced, in my opinion.
My aging feet are impossible to fit. Buy. Return. Over and over. Every step agony. Ultra high arch. Extensor tendonitis. An active aging woman barely able to walk. Trying to pick up part time work after retirement( aren't we all despite trying to save for years? What happened?)I wanted something a bit smart. A size 8, slightly wide foot, I did not expect these to work. Wore around the house three hours and they are keepers. Happy me! Size 8, sorta. unless tight over top of foot, 39 Euro, these are pain free!
I bought this brand over ten years ago. They still look new. They are made in Germany with the finest leather. You will not be disappointed. I wear a UK40
