The stability of these shoes are insane. Your foot feels like it's inside a rigid structure, but somehow you can still move it around without an issue. Never felt anything like that before without it also hurting, or impeding your ability to move. These are both comfortable and kind of feel like I am wearing a work boot without all the weight or bulk.
Gotta give props to the Ultimate Survival Gear's review on You Tube. he was reviewing the boot version and his review was solid. I wanted a half ankle version and found a great deal on here at $60. They have since added $40 more dollars to that price but even at over a $100 you are getting your moneys worth. This is a tough, stable rugged shoe. The plate totally pushes this shoe into another category for me. It's my first real hiking shoe. It feels like it will last a number of years. Thumbs up!
This shoe was one of the 6 I tried through Amazon before I bought. This shoe seemed the most stiff of them all--even the outside fabric/material that seemed like a steel toe like material.
Been looking for a great shoe for a Good while now, that feels good and has all the qualities needed for all weather trekking and hiking 🥾Happy I found it. I am usually a size 12, got this in a 13 and they fit great.
Great fit, you won’t be disappointed. And they ain’t made in China which is important.
