The Irish Setter VaprTrek Men’s 8" Waterproof Insulated Hunting Boot shines in various aspects crucial for hunters. Starting with its comfort, the boot's removable polyurethane footbed with memory foam ensures relief even after long hours spent on your feet. This is complemented by the CuShin comfort tongue and memory foam collar designed to alleviate pressure on sensitive areas like the ankle and shin.
When it comes to traction, the durable outsole with tapered rubber lugs provides excellent grip on tough terrains, giving you the confidence needed to tackle uneven ground. The added comfortable shank delivers more stable footing, essential for navigating through rugged environments.
One of the standout features is their waterproofing. Crafted from full-grain leather and ArmaTec XT materials, these boots utilize UltraDry technology to ensure that moisture management is prioritized—allowing you to remain dry even in wet conditions.
The lightweight design enhances the overall experience, making it easier to move swiftly and effectively while hunting. The incorporation of PRM technology cuts down unnecessary weight without sacrificing durability, setting these boots apart from heavier alternatives.
Lastly, the environmental consideration in insulation using high-density 1200g PrimaLoft made from recycled plastic bottle fibers is commendable, keeping your feet warm while contributing positively to the environment.

The boots are awesome
Very comfy and warm. Do not regret dropping the extra $$ for these.
These are great boots, Very lightweight given the amount of insulation.I had a bit of a problem finding the correct size. I usually wear either an 8.5 wide or a 9 medium. My first pair (bought in a store) were 9.5 EE, and they work with some of my heavy winter socks, but not my thickest pairs. I bought a second pair (from Amazon) in 10 EE in order to accommodate those. I will admit that I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to cold feet, so my thick socks are very thick. Just factor that in when considering size.I also bought a pair for my son through Amazon and it took us two tries to find the right size. Amazon was great about accommodating the exchange.
The extra wide is a touch tight. Wish this boot was offered in extra extra wide (EEE).
I actually bought two pair. I bought the size I normally fit, extra wide, but were too tight. So I returned them and went one size up…. still too tight. They are lite weight, which is what I wanted, but I wasn’t overwhelmed by the quality. Come to find out they are made in China. I returned the second pair also. The return and credit was done expediently good job by company. My advice is spend more, buy American boot.
So I bought these boot with hi expectations. I was really let down. If your doing much walking there very comfortable, and they are squeaky. If your in a tree stand most of the time. There okay but squeaky and uncomfortable for long stands in a tree stand. They are water proof and seem to be holding up pretty good. But just to loud and uncomfortable for me.
I've got a wide foot so boots are hard to find for me. I'm hunting in Kentucky in 27 degree weather. Even in the snow and rain we've had, my feet have stayed dry and warm without the need for bulky socks. Great boots so far.Update* I have been using for two years now and these have not let me down. Still keeping my feet warm and comfortable. They have held up to better than I had hoped. Used them for stand hunting in the lower 20's and they remain warm without making my feet sweat.
It’s not waterproof. Only 5 times hunting that’s all
