The Irish Setter Mudtrek is built with outdoor activities in mind. First, let's talk about the construction. The combination of rubber and neoprene delivers a perfect balance of waterproof performance and comfort. This boot is truly a fortress against water, mud, and cold.
Next, you will appreciate the comfort level. With its 7mm neoprene lining and a polyurethane footbed, the boot provides ample cushioning which is essential for long hours on your feet. Furthermore, the full fit design allows for great mobility without compromising support.
When it comes to temperature management, the Temp Sens Technology is a noteworthy addition. It helps regulate warmth, ensuring that your feet don’t overheat even during active pursuits.
The scent management feature, known as Scent Ban, is another highlight for hunters aiming for stealth. This technology works to mask odors, giving you an edge in the field.
As for wearability, while they are slightly heavier compared to other models, the trade-off is well worth it given their robust protection and performance capabilities.

I really love these boots, they are super comfortable to wear all day and walk long distances, however they are already leaking where the neoprene meets the rubber in the heel. I only used these for 1 deer season, pulled them out for a fishing trip and on day 3 they are leaking. I've always been a die hard Irish Setter fan, but these boots are too expensive to be only getting 1 season out of them. I'm jumping ship to LaCrosse.
True to size kept even even doe they sent wrong color I ordered camouflage they sent smoke grey I paid for camouflage doe
I have a fat foot and originally ordered Irish Setters in a different model and they were too tight. So I thought I'd try these "wide" boots. Well, they are even smaller than the original ones. I couldn't even get them on. I realize they are "athletic" fit and they claim only smaller around the ankle. This is not the case. They are tight all the way around. I'm not sure why Amazon is the only place that marks these as "wide", because no other store (bass pro and cabela's) don't sell wide. There is just a "10" on the boot and box, no W or EE on them. Not sure what is going on but to me this is false advertising. If you have a really skinny foot, than these boots are for you. If you have even slightest wide foot, stay away!
Boots fit good, quick delivery, and they have good traction. Thats the only thing good about these boots. Definitely not comfortable, feel like your walking on hard rubber (basically you are). My feet freeze in these boots, in 40° f temperatures?!?! I wore them for the season so I'm assuming I can not return them. I actually started wearing my old hunting boots again. I Definitely would not recommend these boots.
