I typically wear an 8.5 but I ordered an 8 as recommended per the hunter website. They fit perfect and were half the price that they should be. I highly recommend to splurge on this one. I'm not a box saver, but if you are the box these come in will be damaged during shipping, just an FYI. I love my boots, I wear them mostly in my garden after it's rained or out and about if it's actually raining.
UPDATE: I was able to contact Amazon and they quickly replied by providing a credit to my card and I do not need to return the boots. I double checked with Amazon and they verified that this was true. The boots are great, and would recommend these boots, as they were well made. However, if you have a way to verify your size for Hunter Boots, I would recommend that so you do not end up in the same situation. I would not say that they are sized small, I just have some very weird and painful feet, so I needed to try a larger size (and my fear is that they will be too big).Love the boots, and was going to return and then purchase another size as they were a bit too small. Not able to return to Amazon so I have been waiting for company to email me the mailing label information. I have contacted them via the problem with order information. I may change my review if they finally get the return label information emailed.
Love the color, hunter green. If you have large calf’s they may be tight.
This is the second pair of Hunter boots I've tried. I actually went up a size this time around to see if I could get a better fit but they were still too tight on the calf and the top of my foot. I love the classic look of these boots. Hunter has branched out and made a "Play Boot" that is slightly shorter but has a wider calf and they now have an adjustable calf boot that is the same height as these boots but has the buckle adjustment for the calf. If you have normal sized calves, do not buy this boot, select one of the other options mentioned here.
Very tall shaft. You need to be at least 5,5 for these. Run big, order size down. Functional for the super rainy day.
UNFORTUNATELY I MISSED THE RETURN WINDOW AND THE BOOTS ARE WAY TOO SMALL. I JUST TRIED THEM THIS WEEKEND AND STRUGGLED TO GET MY FOOT OUT OF THEM! GO UP A WHOLE SIZE!
