After five months boots started flaking on the sides. After looking on the internet discovered that Many people have the same problem. Hunter has not indicated if they have solved the problem or not. Not sure they even admit there is an issue. Just do a Google search for Hunter Rain Boots problems. Several people posted pictures of their boots and their pictures look just like mine (photos attached)
This boot does not seem authentic. They feel plastic. Want to return but they won't refund my 14.00 shipping from Florida, Im in California. They also want me to pay for insurance to return the boots. Good look with that. I thought I was buying from the Uk turns out they are in Florida. Don't buy.
The boot has some manufacturing problem is opening.
I have had Hunter wellies for decades. They are absolutely top quality. It’s devastating that this company has disappeared. Buy them up whilst the remaining pairs can be found.
