The HQ ISSUE Canyon Men's Tactical Hiking Boots stand out for their impressive blend of style and functionality. The suede and mesh uppers not only contribute to a sleek military look but also ensure breathability. This is particularly beneficial if you're hiking in warmer climates or engaging in strenuous activities.
One of the major selling points is the 100% waterproof feature that boasts a breathable membrane. This means you can wade through streams or hike in rainy weather without worrying about soggy socks by the end of the day. Additionally, the slip-resistant rubber soles provide confidence when navigating rocky or slippery terrain, which is crucial for safety during your outdoor escapades.
Comfort is key for any trekking shoe, and the Canyon Boots do not disappoint. The roomier toe box allows for better foot movement, reducing the chances of blisters and discomfort during extended use. However, some users might experience a longer break-in period as the material adjusts to the shape of their feet.
While the boots are slightly heavier compared to other models, this can be attributed to their robust construction and added features aimed at providing durability and support. If you're someone who prioritizes sturdiness over weight, these boots will serve you well.

Great fit...sturdy...comfortable...stylish...awesome
Very good quality. I’d stack them against my Underarmour boots all day, not quite a Danner but for the money you can’t beat them. Very comfortable. Buy a can of protective spray, the do stain easy.
Great shoe. Over all it is exactly what I wanted, waterproof. Good quality materials. Only thing is it has very little cushion but for the price you cant have it all and I still like them. May get inserts later.
Great shoes wore them three days at the range nice and comfortable. Great shoe at a great price.
Great fit and very comfortable. Just wore these on a 6000 mile motorcycle ride that included hiking in the Rocky Mountains.
I stand in wet slurry every day, most boots make it 3 months, these made it 9....doesn't sound like much but they are comfortable and lasted 3 times longer than most boots I've purchased....I'm buying my second pair now...
Good quality
From a sizing perspective this boot seems to run a bit wider than comparable boots. I wear a size 11W in a Merrell MOAB, and this boot in standard width is actually wider than the Merrell (good if you need width).it's a good looking boot, but unfortunately, even at the sale price, it falls short/fails on many fronts:BREATHABILITY/WATERPOOFNESS - the "Guide Dry membrane" is a joke! it's more like just wearing a plastic bag on your feet... the boot does NOT breath at all, resulting in wet sweaty feet at the end of the day. This is a real problem, even if you are sedentary in these boots. I din't expect GORETEX or EVENT at this price point, but it's not functional in terms of breath ability.. although I tested it, and it is certainly waterproof.COMFORT/SUPPORT - nice and WIDE (even in the standard width), slightly heavier than comparable boots (MOAB, FRONTRANGE, TARGHEE, etc.). The insoles are cheap trash to be replaced immediately, and the arch support otherwise seems standard.OTHER- the lacing system is ok, and the top eyelets are actually metal, and not plastic as they might appear... which is good. The soles are grippy, and the ankle support is decent.Sadly, this boot is a PASS, due primarily to the lack of breath-ability in i's proprietary "GUIDE DRY membrane". The amount of moister vapor trapped in the boot after even the lightest duty is unacceptable, and could result in a foot injury over time. i cannot comment on durability as of yet.
