My foot doctor recommended these sandals so I thought I’d give them a try since I have bad feet. I have other good sandals but I do have to say you can really feel the difference with these. They are a tad on the wide side but I have a very narrow foot. Even tho these sandals fit nicely.
I have had two foot surgery’s for bunion removal on each foot. I wear these every day and stand all day in them.
Best sandal EVER!! More importantly, they truly saved my feet from SEVERE planter fasciitis pain as they are extremely comfortable.IMPORTANT NOTE: I have purchased numerous colors in the EXACT Hoka sandal (orange, black, etc) from other online stores & directly from manufacturer. Although pleased w/those purchases, for some reason (don’t know why), the BLUE/GRAY sandals fit & feel the best!! I did pay more for this color on Amazon, but it was TOTALLY worth it!!!
I have 2 pair of the "whatever 5's. I don't like the 6s as well for comfort and stability for walking, hiking or running (which I can't do anymore), I'd tried Sketchers slip on tennis shoes that my nurse wore but awful fit. Returned them the same day. I was hoping these would be a quick on and off shoe that offered the same comfort as the lace ups. YES! I will make it till the VA sends auth for my orthotic. The cushion in the heel is impressive, It really makes for a shock absorbing safety net for your foot. Love them.
Makes my feet happy
My PT recommended this shoe while I recover from my Achilles’ tendon injury. Shoes are super comfortable and supportive in all the right places! I have a very narrow foot so the width is a bit wide for me but the pros out way the cons. Highly recommend it for the long-lasting comfort.
I was so disappointed when I took my first look at these flips. If anyone had these flips in the previous design I think they would be 100% in agreement with what I'm about to say.CHEAP look, CHEAP material and CHEAP feel, compared to the previous design. Hoka changed everything for the worsts. The top strap sits back too far and is uncomfortable between my toes. The rest of the shoe is made from what feels like cheap rubber/plastic, I don't know, but there is NOTHING recovery about this shoe.Don't waist your money.
But oh my goodness are they comfortable! I was having back pain and was suggesting these. The picture makes them look prettier than they are. But the level of comfort is makes them totally worth it.
