The HIPPOSEUS Latin Dance Shoes offer a remarkable blend of comfort, style, and functionality. The smooth velveteen PU material feels luxurious against the skin, making them ideal for long hours of practice. One of the standout features is the non-slip suede sole, which allows for fluid movements without the fear of slipping, enhancing your performance during dances like the cha-cha or rumba.
The closed-toe design adds a touch of elegance, while the lace-up feature allows for a customized fit, ensuring that your shoes stay secure throughout your dance routine. With a stable heel height of 2.33 inches, these shoes provide the right balance between support and mobility, making them suitable for both novice and experienced dancers.
However, it’s important to note that these shoes are not water-resistant, so they are best suited for indoor dancing or dry conditions. Additionally, those who prefer open-toed designs may find the closed-toe style less appealing.
Overall, if you are looking for stylish and practical dance shoes that enhance your performance and keep you comfortable, the HIPPOSEUS Latin Dance Shoes could be an excellent choice for your dance wardrobe.

I am very pleased with my new dance shoes. While nothing is ever perfect, these come close.I would say they run true to size. I typically wear a size 8.5 for both my street shoes and my dance shoes. (Although, some shoe salesmen tell me I should be wearing a size 9 to allow more room in the toe.) I attempted to measure my feet per the chart provided. What I measured corresponded with an 8 (a half size smaller than than my normal size). However, I decided to stay with the 8.5 as I already had one pair of dance shoes at home that were a bit too snug. What arrived feels very comfortable on my feet including the toe box. There is a little more space in the back of shoe if I scrunch my toes into the bottom of the shoe, but I won't know until I dance in these a few times if there will be any issues with my foot sliding around within the shoe. Each shoe came with a foam insert to provide additional structure to the toe of the shoe during shipping and with a bag to protect the fabric/finish on the shoe from rubbing damage. The left shoe arrived pristine. The right shoe did have a little dust or debris on inside heel as well as a barely noticeable nick and scratch on the heel. The dust/debris was minimal and I was able to brush most of it off with just my hand. I don't believe anyone but me will ever know about the other flaws. I would venture I will see more noticeable scratches in the future from the occasional dancer stepping on my feet or heel. While I have not done so with shoes in the past, I may choose to continue placing each of these shoes in their own bags when I change after dancing to keep the fabric/finish clean. When reading reviews of dance shoes online, I have seen some reviewers complain that the heel of the shoe is not also covered in suede. I do not know what kind of dancing those reviewers are performing where they are turning on their heels. I dance Salsa/Latin and am happy to have my plastic heel caps as they help stop me on a dime at the end of a fast spin. In the picture you can see that they did a wonderful job on the suede sole. The bottoms of both shoes arrived perfectly clean and unworn. The shoes were shipped with a CNE tracking number and I was able to see more details on the tracking via CNE than what was displayed on Amazon. Once in the states, the package was transported via UPS (United Parcel Service) before it was passed along to my local USPS (United States Postal Service). In my case it took 3 weeks to arrive once shipped and the estimated delivery date was not updated until it was ready for pick up. I did have some concerns about where my package was, once CNE showed, "Shipment Delivered to USPS, Package Acceptance Pending" in my town. It stayed in this status from Friday through Monday. I did reach out to Amazon on Monday to request a USPS tracking number and was told they would reach out the the shipper. I was instructed to allow 2 days for a response, but I did receive an email back that same night (about 8 hours later and before noon their time). The email included both the initial tracking number and the USPS tracking number. It turned out that the package was delayed at the town sorting center and it was available for me to pick up that next day.I customized my shoes (immediately after placing my order) by reaching out to the seller through Amazon. I requested a custom heel height and they did a great job of ensuring both parties knew exactly what heel was being selected. The seller did this by providing a picture of the different heel options with the one I had requested circled. Then asked me to confirm the one circled was the one I wanted. All the responses I received from this seller have been professional and polite. So far, I am very happy with my purchase and feel it is likely I will buy from this seller again. My only delay in ordering my second pair is to test how well they stand up to my abuse and confirm fit while dancing (that my foot won't slide down into the toe causing the back of the shoe to gape). I may update this review after I've had time to test them out to provide more feedback on the size and durability of the shoe.
One shoe is smaller than the other one. On the pictures you can tell yourself that the right shoe is the small size. This never before happened to me.LOL
There is nothing to like about these shoes, but the color, these shoes are the worst fitting shoes I have ever had. I just returned them by mail and it cost me $30.00 to return them. Will not purchase from this company again :(
