They are true size and very comfortable. Looks like they are well made, and should last a long time.
I was looking for a set of riding boots that had both the classic 'engineer' boot style I've always loved and had the gear-shift protection on the toe. While these aren't the flat-toe style I have always worn, these come close enough for me. But the comfort is what really sold me.I had gotten a pair of riding boots from a different company that were closer to my style and supposedly in my size, but one quick run of errands showed me the error of that claim. I had hoped they'd break in over time, but instead they left me with huge blisters on my heals that still haven't fully healed, almost two weeks later. By the time I realized that, however, it was too late to send them back. So I went looking for something better and ran across these HD boots.I'm 54 and know my usual size of footwear. But boot sizes seem to have changed in the last 10 years or so. I normally wear a size 8.5-9 wide in regular shoes/boots, but this time around I decided to go big or go home. I bought these boots in a size 10 in order to be sure I'd have enough room so that I wouldn't hurt myself again. Man, am I ever glad I did! They're perfect! Lots of room in the toe for my fat feet to spread out in and a very comfy, cushioned sole that I was totally not expecting. I'm not a Harley rider - I own and ride a metric cruiser - so I was reticent at first to buy these because I didn't want to look/feel like a poseur or a wannabe. But, I have to say, these are some very sturdy, comfy riding boots! Who really cares who makes them? No regrets!I would suggest going a full size higher than what you're normally used to, especially if they still offer them with the 7-day try on arrangement. That way you can always send them back for a half or full size smaller, if need be. But, more likely, they'll be perfect.
I purchased these boots as a gift for my fiancé. He had seen them in an ad and of course showed me. I found them at a less expensive price through Amazon. He absolutely loves his new boots. He said that they fit so well! Warm in the cold winter weather; keep out the frigid winds on a winter ride! Plenty of wiggle room for the toes but fit snuggly enough as not to slide on the foot causing blisters or discomfort! He is pleased by the overall look of the boots. He was all too eager to show them off and jumped on his Harley for a quick ride Christmas morning after receiving them. He got much pleasure showing his boots to friends and family at holiday gatherings. And also many many compliments from others, especially his riding friends!!! Great purchase! Would buy again if/when needed!
Great construction, comfortable and recommend them for riding, daily wear and weekend dress boots will buy again.
I wear a 10.5 or 11 and 10.5 fit just right. Leather is thick and seems to be of good quality. Boot is comfortable. Price is great. I expect the boot to loosen a little, over time, so I chose a tighter fitting size. I haven't ridden many miles with these boots, as of yet, but I have some long trips planned and do not doubt that they will be great. Additionally, wearing them around the house they rubbed my skin at the top of the zipper. If I wear a high sock that extends above the boot I'm okay.
Feels good. Looks good. Stylish, although it feels like a boot that Frankenstein would wear. Large platform and rigid. I personally like it and gets many comments. I've had a couple instances where I lose my footing when riding my harley, but I should eventually break them in.
Easy to put on and take off, and very comfortable.
The fit was Awesome!! I love these Boots!!!Surprisingly Lightweight !!! I would recommend them to anyone!!
