Edit: 2018-Currenlty on my third pair of these boots. Fantastic and looking forward to buying yet another pair. A really great boot for the money. Rugged and good looking. I wore these boots for construction. They have held up better than my last pair ,which were the Grinders Stag but had the red rub finish instead. This pair is fairly comfortable.The UK sizes are one size off from US sizes so be aware before you buy and even then they are a bit roomy. They have decent but not incredible arch support. These boots are as rugged as they look. They have notably good grip. They have held up well on dirty, rough construction sites. Cool looking single ply leather. A pair will last you 6 months to 1 year with regular wearing. Still very good value for the price. I like mine alot!
I wasn’t sure about size based on other reviews. I wear between a 10 and 11 depending on boot. I went with a 10 since there are no 1/2 sizes. The 10 fit perfect and I have room for winter socks(I live in Minnesota.). So far, they have had good traction with the winter weather we’ve received. They are 100% better than my Docs are in the MN winter. They were also comfortable out of the box. The leather was a bit stiff, but that’s to be expected. I’ve worn them daily since they came, and they’ve broken in nicely. I have had no issues on any long walks with comfort. They came faster then the shipping window too - about a day. All in all, so far, they seem to be a good investment for daily wear winter boots.
Love these boots! I ordered my husband a pair in his usual size and they were just a bit too snug. Requested a replacement size and they shipped them right out. The return was super easy and the size up was a perfect fit! Great customer service. I've had my boots for 2 years and they are definitely holding up to extended wear. Highly recommend.
I wish I would have gotten the 14 eyelet version. 10 makes them difficult to wear loose without wearing on the heels. Wearing them tight is fine, but not as comfortable for me. I can't return for the upgrade as they creased pretty easy after only 2 times wearing them
I ended up having to send them back because a size 10 was too small in the toe for me. I normally wear between a 10 and 11 in most shoes. The seller was very responsive in resolving my issue. Don't hesitate to shop with confidence!
These boots look great just what I wanted , EXCEPT ! The size , I ordered U.S 8 and received U.S 7 , checked all my info an it does have u.s 8 listed as size ! I will no longer use an incompetent company
These are a magnificent pair, the size shows 7 (41) and they fit perfectly for an American Men’s 8 1/2
The price of these boots is lower than expected. The fit in terms of front to back is true. There is an odd fit in appearance above the instep, like there is unnecessary space there. I thought this could be corrected with the addition of an insert, but that's not the case. On nowhere do these boots indicate country of origin. They are not make in the U.K., that's for certain. Had I known this, I would not have make the purchase. Sending them back makes little sense.
