The Georgia mens Boot Work industrial and construction shoes are engineered for those who demand durability paired with exceptional comfort. The Muddog Comfort Core work boots are crafted from top-tier materials like SPR leather, known for its impressive strength and resistance to abrasions. This boot is designed to endure harsh environments, making it suitable for ranch work and beyond.
SPR leather outperforms traditional leather by being approximately three times stronger and offering superior resistance to chemicals and acids. Additionally, a robust rubber Phoenix outsole enhances traction while standing up against slips and oils, ensuring you remain steady on your feet during long shifts on the job.

These Georgia Boots were purchased to replace look alike Wolverine Swamp Monster boots. Unfortunately the TPU shell in the Wolverine’s developed a break completely around the front of the toe.The Georgia Boots are excellent. They appear to be much better made but I will have to send them back in exchange for a size 10.5 as some reviews have written that GB’s run a bit smaller. I could wear the Wolverines without socks and had no rubbing problems. The GB's are way too tight. I have a very skinny high arch foot and I made the mistake of putting the boot on with a sock. I thought I was going to have to cut off the boot! The inside of the GB has this very thick lining. And I suspect hot on a hot day! After trying the boot without a sock it was much better. I could almost slip into it with just a small tug on the boot but still somewhat tight. So I tried a thin bamboo fabric dress sock. Went in easier but still a struggle to get it off. Without the sock the fabric inside of the boot tends to be rough. I suspect other than being uncomfortable it would quickly cause chaffing and/or blisters. So I am going to send them back and try a 10.5 and see if it works out. I will give them a 5. A very well made boot otherwise.Update 10-8-2018I shipped the boots back and I received a size 10.5 in return. The boots fit much better. The shaft is not as loose as my old Wolverine boots but I think with time they will expand at the ankle where they are just a bit tight. For now I am going to keep empty 48 oz bottles of Pine-Sol purple stuffed in the boots.I have changed my fit from too small to fit as expected.I must make one thing clear. The first pair was not to small for the foot but rather the construction made it fit small. The inside lining of the boot is thick and the shaft as the boot narrows at the ankle makes it feet tight. Length wise I had no problem with heel to toe fit in the size 10. The 10.5 boots are not as tight at the ankle which makes it easier to put on and take off but I have more than enough wiggle room but not a problem with thick socks.
I have had a pair of Georgia mud dogs before and these fit my feet perfectly and feels like I’m walking on a cloud they’re great boots they’re good fit their great value for the money couldn’t be happier
I found the foot area to be "snug". Not tight, but I cannot wear thick wool socks in these boots. But with regular cotton socks, they fit good and do not move around on my feet. They have held up to heavy rains, mud and muck.
I'm a big fan of these boots ,but this go around I used them on one job and the front rubber came unglued and I had to buy another pair while I was out of town . Don't get me wrong I love wearing these boots I retired from the oil field four years ago and hands down these have been the best boots . Hopefully they see this and they can upgrade the glue or something.
I should've read comments to go up about a half or full size. They fit more snugly than other brands I've purchased. However, I gave the boots four stars as the size purchase was my "fault" and not the manufacturer. The boots are my daily workhorses and have withstood anything I've thrown at them. The stitching is wearing out on the inside of the heels, but has (so far) not impacted the waterseal or the functionality. The soles are solid, the upper's are sturdy. The inside where my heel is held against the back of the boot is completely gone. I suppose that could be from ordering a half size small, but it is an extra process to remove the boots without completely tearing out the inside material. I've been through water, mud and anything else Mother Nature throws my way but these boots continue to keep her at bay. I have otherwise been very pleased with this boot. The sole is probably at 75% about 9 months later and these are worn every day in the field and on city terrain.
Good
Came apart a month after I bought them! Very comfortable but came apart at the toe 4 days after one month old. So I can’t return them.
I work all day and go through boots quite often. Still to early to tell if they will last . But good size, keeping my feet dry, and not slipping on cow poo. But two things I don't like is that they are stiff, makes it hard to bed down and do chores. Also it's hard to pull my pants down over them
