The Georgia boots fit was great, very comfortable, needed very little break in. On my first use l wore them for 4 hrs. no discomfort at all. Very happy. Size 11 w. Very satisfied customer.
I am very sad that Georgia Boots is no longer making this style boot. They get harder and harder to find each year. The new boot that was to replace this is just not the same and I cont remember the new style name or number. He gave them away after only wearing them 2 times. These however are his favorite. Wears them in winter, summer and all season in between. They breath for him even after slathering them in snowseal and they are incredibly light weight. He has a wide foot and these boots are so well made and naturally wide he wears the medium width boot. Very hard to find him boots he likes. He is a 13 and is incredibly picky about his shoes. Highly recommend these boots!!
4.9 stars - when these boot arrived I only planned on wearing then an hour or two until they were broke in... 6+ hours later they were still on my feet. They are easily the most comfortable work boots I've ever owned. I'm on concrete most of the day and have no complaints (especially from my knees). The rubber soles, plus insole cushioning are like wearing heavier (but not too heavy) tennis shoes. I've only had them a few weeks so can't say how they'll hold up, they seem to be well made and don't show much wear at all (they're on my feet 12+ hours per day, everyday)10.5 2e - fit as expected..no... better than expected! My instep is a bit high but am not having problems with the lacing biting into my instep (well padded tongue). The boots are easy to get on and off.My "4.9 stars" is because there's some stitching inside the rear of the shoe around my Achilles tendon that rubs a bit, I'm using Silipos heal pads so it's not a problem - just an extra step to getting the boots on.Great pair of boots!! Will buy again.UPDATE: After about a year, the soles started to come loose from the leather - sides near the ball of my foot. I had them repaired but the repair did not last long. These would be great if I didn't wear them every day around the farm, I have a second pair that I've started wearing, will try something different when the second pair falls apart - but... all day comfort, as I have in these boots, is hard to come by... with my feet anyway.
I had Georgia boots and when they wore out (10+ years!!) I bought cheaper. BIG MISTAKE. After trying 2 other cheaper brands, I went back to Georgia. The sizes are DEAD ON, and when they arrive, you'll be pleased with tough solid soles and soft thick leather uppers that DON'T need any "break-in" THey wrap around your feet like they were custom made and offer VERY comfortable padding around the ankle. Sizes are DEAD ON as well! Definitely worth the cost!
Best work boot I've owned. Went through 6 pairs. Great price on amazon. Softest boot every. Like walking on a marshmallow. Only downside is they seem to wear out after six months. Do landscaping and walk the majority of the day. I would say a solid 6 hours a day of walking. Break in period is quick. No blisters ever.
Supposed to b 10.5 wide boot but they weren’t tag said it was bought many these boots for work. Wont buy work boots on line anymore just go to the store make sure u get right ones!
Very comfortable and rugged
This is my second pair and the first ones lasted for several years with good routine maintenance. They are as comfortable as house shoes and ware so nice all day long. I've even traded them out for my very expensive hiking day shoes that are almost twice the price for just walking around.
