These loafers are the grown-up version of the ones I got from Payless in 1999. High quality, heavy and a bit clunky, and so cute. The leather is real and pretty, and I'm sure they will clean up well with a polish. They are definitely on the longer side. I'm a true 10 medium, and I bought a 10. I have to wear thick socks with these. If you're between sizes, you could probably size down. They are perfect for work with a skirt, flares, or ankle pants. Best purchase in a while.
1/2 size too big
This is an attractive loafer type shoe. I bought a 9.5 and it fit well, except for the loose heel, which picked up (I walked out of one of the shoes) when I took my first step because the heels are SO HEAVY! They appear to be actual rubber, which immediately MARKED my hardwood floor. Nope. Not acceptable anymore! If they'd had a lighter weight heel material so the shoes aren't so heavy, didn't mark the wood floor, and had a slightly snugger heel, I'd have my new favorite shoes. As is, I must return them.
