The quality of the leather is immediately apparent—soft to the touch yet resilient against dirt and scuffing.
The Goodyear welt construction ensures that these boots have a long lifespan, giving you peace of mind with every step. They feature a rubber forepart that not only enhances comfort during wearing but also provides solid traction on various surfaces, making them ideal for daily use.
In terms of fit, the Frye Bowery ticks all the right boxes. They come in medium width and are true to size, which is a significant advantage for buyers looking for that perfect fit without any guesswork. However, do note that they may require a brief breaking-in period before achieving ultimate comfort.
The design versatility means they can be paired seamlessly with jeans, chinos, or even smart trousers. Their classic silhouette complements almost any outfit, making them a staple in your wardrobe.

these are the old military " rough-out boondockers" they will stomp many miles and protect and brace your feet for whatever the whatever throws your way. . kick a pig!I don't believe I will wear these out or replace them in the rest of my lifetime . . I still have my pair (high top) from bootcamp 1965 . . . SemperFi
Awesome fit and looks great dressy and casual look.
I am pretty sad the shoe didn't fit because overall it seemed like a quality product. They are a bit heavy but the have a sturdy sole that rubber logs and the uppers are soft. I think it would have been a very comfortable shoe but there was no way I was going to get my foot in it. I have a wide foot but usually a 10.5 D will fit. I couldn't get this on even with a shoe horn. It's a strange situation since I've bought a couple of Frye boots and had no issues but the way this chukka boot is made I don't think I'll even try again unless they get some wide sizes listed.
Great fit and as usual with a Frye shoe they are built to last.
Very good quality
I love The boots perfect fit I have them on now Thank you very much PERFIT...
They’re Frey’s! Nuff said, excellent.
Faded black looks identical to another boot i bought my bf that is called a taupe color. It has a brown hue. I'm not sure if I was mailed the right shoe because this does not look like the photo to me. I haven't given these to my bf yet because it is a gift and ill let him decide if he wants to keep these and have two of the same color boot. I will say these excellent quality like all FRYE boots.
