These boots are absolutely beautiful. The leather is soft and warm for winter. I ordered an 8.5 and they are true to size.
These are beautiful and exactly what I was looking for! I ordered a size 6.5 since that’s my typical show size. That said, they were a little tight on the top of my foot and I struggled a bit to pull the zipper. BUT, they are real leather so they will stretch and after wearing them for one day, I wouldn’t change a thing. Perfect fit around my calf and I would say I have average size calf’s at 5’4” in height. (I’m an athlete, and don’t have muscular calf’s, but some reviews are saying they have narrow calf’s and they were too big. Not so for me!!) The feel is very soft leather, so easy to put on and off with the back zipper. I will wear these when dressed casual or dressed up. So happy they went on sale at 40% off!Oh and by the way, they are made in China. Inside the bouts it says they’re made in India.
I got these for $100 in a sale and my review is based on that price point.The boots are soft and beautiful. They look great on my feet and don't ride up too high at the knee on me. (I am 5'7" with fairly long legs.) They fit snugly. I usually wear a 7.5-8 and ended up going for an 8.5. I bought a normal calf width and have no complaints about how they fit on the calf. I'm on the thinner side but not super thin. I had enough room for leggings or skinny jeans in them and they weren't sticking out too far or anything. They're just right.The zipper on these boots goes all the way down over the heel, to the sole. The zip is pretty stiff and tight over the back of the heel, as some other reviews stated. The zipper has a lining on the inside that is easy to catch in the zipper if you're not being careful.The first pair I got in the mail had clearly been used. The box had been taped shut by Amazon and one of the zips was damaged at the heel exactly the way I stated above. I had to exchange it, and when I did, I opted to get a half-size bigger, too, so that I'd never have the issue myself. I think you need to give yourself a little room or you will break the zipper eventually at the heel just like this person did. I think it'd be hard to get them on and off without undoing the zipper past the heel, too, so it's not like you can avoid unzipping it that far.All in all, I think it was a steal to get these at this price. They look like they'd last for years if you took care of the leather, and their simple design means they're pretty timeless. I think they are comfortable to walk in and will break in beautifully.
I bought these just over a year ago. The shaft is a little thinner than is comfortable and the zippers have given me nothing but problems. I’ve barely worn them bc they aren’t comfortable but a couple months ago I decided to try to “wear them in”. The zipper on the right boot busted open and can’t be fixed with out paying a professional. It didn’t even come apart at the calf where it’s tightest on my leg. It came apart at the bottom at my ankle! Don’t buy these. I’m out so much money.
Love the way this boot conforms to my leg. It holds me snuggly while providing great foot support. Definitely what I’ve been looking for.
These are cute boots. I bought a pair for my daughter in her correct size and they fit her perfectly. I bought a pair for myself in my correct size and they are so small that I can’t even get the zipper started! And the price has gone up for my size so I will have to pay extra now to get a bigger pair. 😡
I am 5’8” for reference. Would probably be too tall if you were a shorter legged lady. I weigh 130 pounds with not necessarily super thin legs. I felt the calves were too big in these. They gapped awkwardly outward. I also did not like the fabric sewn-in loops at the sides. I considered cutting them off, but that would still show. And they could not be tucked in. If you zoom in, you can see an awkward, zigzag stitching pattern on the outside of the leather attaching the fabric loops. I also felt, the seam going down the front of the boot was awkward and not constructed well. The oiled toe looked good. The color was also somewhat orange in huhh. Disappointing. Returned.
These have to be my favorite every day boots and I get compliments on them all the time! This elevates any outfit. Easy to dress up or down. Looks great with jeans and dresses.I had problems with other high knee boots sagging down, but these boots keep their shape perfectly! Great value for price!
