I purchase these Franco Sarta loafers for my second graduation from Liberty University. My first graduation was on the football field in May 2021 and I had on heels because I didn’t know. My second graduation from Liberty University was in May inside of one of their auditoriums. I wasn’t taking any chances this time around so I brought these loafers. They fit perfectly with room to spare. I usually wear a think sock or knee high with these loafers. They are cut a tiny bit larger than my foot but works great. I will be trying a little thicker sock when I wear again. They are comfortable for walking and standing in for hours. I am 5’6” and weigh 172. I purchased a size 8 1/2. Shoe is beautiful and very well made. Good quality workmanship. Patent leather with gold just gets me rave reviews when I wear these. I will buy again if I ever have too.
Love these shoes so much. Ordered half size up after reading reviews but it slipped of my heels when walking. Returned and got true size and fit perfectly! Chunky but not obnoxious. Comfy, cute, versatile. Can’t wait for snow to melt to wear these beauties.
I had been eyeing these for about a week in both patent black and burgundy. I found a pair of the Cassandra (similar no tassels or silver metal accent) at Marshalls in my size in the patent black and was in love with them and bought them for a great price.I came home and two days later the Carolynn in burgundy dropped in price here, so I scooped it up in the same size as my Cassandra. These loafers are just so classic and look great with jeans (straight or skinny) or with slacks. They'd even look cute with a short skirt (but I'm not a skirt gal). My shoe size is a 9.5 and that's my normal size. Not wide or narrow. Just 9.5. I am to the point if there's not half sizes I don't buy it. They fit comfortable right out of the box and I probably wouldn't wear socks but they could handle a thin trouser sock. I am a 9.5 in every type of shoe (dress, sneaker, boot, sandal, slipper) so if you have Goldilocks feet like me (not narrow and not wide) I think you'll be just fine with your normal size.
These are pretty shoes and nice quality. However, they are not as comfortable as I would like. I wish they had a cushier sole as well as a little more arch support. (I like a medium arch support and these are pretty flat.)
This is my second pair. Waited till these went on sale and had to buy them. Very comfy and fits great. Plus the cute gold bar trim makes them look expensive!! Which they are but oh la la!! Great shoe!
What everyone else said. These loafers are beautiful, well made, true to size, and look twice as expensive as they are. I slipped them on right out of the box and they were comfortable, did not rub the back of my heel like I expected they might. The silver detailing on the heel is perfect. Exactly the shoe I was looking for.
These are good looking shoes, no doubt. Well made. But they run extremely large. At least a half size, possibly even a full size too long. I had to double check to see if I had been accidentally provided thr wrong size (no I hadn't). Either I got a "defective" pair or these particular shoes run big....
