I bought these because 1)they’re cute and 2) they were on a major sale. I was so excited about them being 80% off that I bought them right away, then went to look at the reviews. The reviews were pretty bad though… a lot of people didn’t get what was expected leading me to believe these were going to be a faux pair, potentially not even looking like the actual photo. I wasn’t able to cancel the order so I had intentions to return but it turns out they are exactly as described, Franco sarto boots. Look exactly like the photo, came in a Franco Sarto box and have the name on the sole of the shoe. If they’re faux, they fool me. Also, I typically buy wide calf boots, these fit perfect for me. Really happy with my purchase. Also I got the wide calf because my calf is like a 16.5 circumference I think, and they fit really well
I wear a 9 but I bought a 9.5 and happy I did. Tried on and they are comfortable and if you need a wide calf this probably will be tight
These were delivered loose in a large box. The boot forming stuffing wasn’t even inside the boots. The material is very cheap, it feels like thin plastic. The “wide calves” are not all that wide.
I saw these in a local store but didn't want to pay the price. Found here $20.00 cheaper. White? Was a little unsure of light colored boots. But love them. They don't get very dirty. After each wear. I use a cleaning wipe on the lug sole and leather. Good as new. Very stylish. I did have to break in so one star for that. Foot a tad snug to get in but after on, plenty of room.
Very comfortable. I can wear them all day, on my feet, comfortably. I wear 8.5 - 9 size and bought the 8.5 which are a bit roomy.
I was looking for a very plain boot. I was hoping in person they'd be cute. If you're looking for a Herman Munster type of boot or a rainboot looking boot then these are for you. The circumferance of boot opening is listed wrong and is closer to 16". I have average size calfs. About 13.75-14" around the widest part. These were hugely wide in the calf area and top opening on me. I wear 8.5M but in a boot if I want to wear socks I usually get a 9. The footbed fit fine. The bottom part of boot fit fine. But, the center calf area up to the top was hugely wide on me.
I’m short, the boots were too tall for my legs.
