I love that the larger shaft actually gives my calves room! The boots are comfortable, well made and look great with a dress or leggings and a tunic. Years ago, I had to have riding boots custom made due to my generous calves. At the time, being 5’7” and 145 lbs, you would not expect that. They were very expensive. These are perfect and flattering.
The boots look great: elegant, well designed, high quality. I took half a size bigger than usual, and happy with the decision. Calf is not small, but I am athletic, so it fits me.
I was looking for a quality knee-high, black leather riding boot to replace a 25 year old pair and these were exactly what I was looking for!! I am an 8 1/2 shoe size but I got these in a sz 9 so that I could wear thicker socks during colder months. I am 5’6” 132lbs for reference & these fit perfectly around my calf, Not tight with a little room to wear over jeans as well. I only wish I could get other colors like brown and beige.
I wish these would have fit right. They are narrow even though they are 5.5 wide they hurt as soon as I put them on. The calf is super tight as well. I’m 4’10” and 118 lbs. Also they came with a few minor scratches which weren’t the deal breaker. The leather is also very very stiff - I could barely walk with them. 😞
These boots are really nice. A little stiff but hopefully they will loosen up with wear.
Great fit and soft leather .
I’ve never been one to have to buy boots for my calves and while the foot of this fits perfectly, it does not zip up all the way because of my calves! I didn’t even realize because I tried this one before I bought it last year, and I bought it this past summer as soon as it went on sale. I’m not sure whether I put on weight or this particular pair is just ill-fitting. But now I can’t return it because I bought it months ago for this fall season.
