I am beyond impressed with these boots! They are so comfortable that I feel like I can wear them without socks, although I would never do that lol... The leather is so soft and really high quality. They are super comfortable and as a hairdresser I am so happy I will be able to wear these all day at work! I wanted these boots the moment I saw them and I was a little apprehensive at some of the reviews of people saying they are uncomfortable! I can't even believe anyone would say that because I've bought Doc Martens before and they killed my feet.... These are nothing like that! These are the most comfortable and beautiful distressed-looking boots I can't wait to wear them all season!!!
I love these boots. I ordered my normal size 6 and had to return for a 5.5 and they fit great. No break in period. I wore them all day and no issues with comfort. I wanted these because I have nothing like them.
These boots are so cute!! I found the straps to be about the same color as in the picture. They fit true to size and are very comfortable. I have skinny calves and feet, and they fit me fine!
Admittedly the boots LOOK good. But there is no way to walk in them. The sole is not flexible, the leather is stiff, the lining isn’t breathable. Basically it’s like wearing a cast, or as another reviewer put it, a ski boot. Not the most flattering look. The toggles are useless as they don’t tighten properly so that when I take one step, my heel doesn’t stay put which portends blisters and all manner of ambulatory comedy. Nope. They’re going back. And when I put my return reason that it’s because the leather is stiff and not soft, the seller comes back that they never put anywhere the leather was soft. Okay, you got me. Thanks for pointing that out. Now gimme my money back for my unused, unworn ski boot. Now.
I have nothing negative to say, except one thing and I’ll ask at the end of my statement. These are THEE most comfortable boots, out of the box, I’ve ever worn. Yes, I have had many, many different pairs and designers. I am in love. I already want another pair, perhaps the white?? You will not be disappointed!! My only complaint was, the box got pretty beat up coming all the way from Portugal. Could you please send me another box? The box itself is insane! It’s yellow with a big fly on it!! It’s all dented and distorted, yet, the boots are in perfect shape. I love FLY!!!!
These boots fit as described by the other reviewer, Samantha. I also wear between an 8.5 and 9, and the 39's were a perfect fit! They are totally different from the usual which is why I love them. They are also really comfortable. They do, however, have tricky fasteners. There's no Velcro holding the straps once you tighten them. They've tended to slide loose a bit and to tighten them is somewhat logistically tricky because as the boot wearer, you are not at the best angle to tighten them...and I am a flexible person, but you can't get the leverage you need. No big tho....I'd buy another pair.
I originally saw these boots in a fine women's clothing store, but, they didn't have my size. I was told they were very difficult to get on line....if not impossible..not for Amazon.They had them in my size (for $100.00 less, I might add) and I was wearing them within 2 weeks!!I get so many compliments when I wear them. They also come in a variety of other colors.Love them!
I am absolutely in love with these boots. I usually wear between an 8 1/2 and a 9 but I took a risk and got the 39 and they fit perfectly. The leather feels like I've been wearing these boots for years. They look even better in person and everytime I wear them I get compliments because they are so different. Definitely a great buy. Highly recommended.
