Super comfortable right out of the box. I usually wear an 8.5, but ordered a 9 and I’m glad I did. Good toe wiggle room for a boot with heavier socks!!!
I always have a hard time with boots because my calfs are bigger than most (16 inches). This boot fits snag (not too snug) around my calfs! You can adjust the velcro strap as well, but if your calfs are over 16 inches-I would not recommend. I wear a size 9 US and ordered the size 9. Amazon suggested 8 bases on what I have purchased in the past, but I'm glad I stuck with 9 because they fit great! My foot is a little on the narrow side. Plus, I was worried about crazy return costs that I read in other reviews, so I'm glad I didn't has to mess with that! These boots are beautiful and I hope to wear them for years to come! I have very athletic calves, that measure 16 inches in diameter. These boots fit over my calves. It wasnt an easy task, but still managed. Because the leather is soft, a few more wears and they should stretch more. Hope this helps.

NOT LEATHER. Shoe looks VERY different in larger sizes. Tight fit on narrow foot. Bad arch support. Seller does NOT pay for RETURNS. STRAP that crosses calf does not lay flat. FLY LONDON. Cost of return via FedEx to seller out of country (supplier reads Shoe Brand USA is not an American seller) is more than the cost of the boot. NOT WORTH the Headache. Beware. Fine print does not match actual product.
