Good boots. Rough finish. Needed something I could polish though.
These totally fit what I was looking for in looks, but after just a single month of light use, the zipper channel on the left boot is torn at the bottom and the zipper is detached.Tried to fix with some super glue, sounds dumb but with fake leather it’s hard to repair. Will see if it helps but ultimately I’m very disappointed in these boots I paid $130 for but are performing like $30 boots.One star
These are my new favorite dress shoe/boot.This boot has laces and a zipper for easy on and easy off. I got the 8.5 wide and they were true to size. The toe extends beyond the end of your foot but narrows at the tip. You gain a half inch or more in length but your toes are not crunched.The cushion inside is great. These are very soft inside and out. The support is great. The leather flexes to accommodate my foot providing extreme comfort. These are worth a try if you want a stylish, well made, dress boot. They can work for casual or semi formal occasions.These are not insulated... not made for long winter hikes or outdoor chores. The tread on the sole is not a thick lug. These are for smooth surfaces. They are not a trail or hiking boot. They will keep your feet a comfortable temperature if it is cold outside. They also will keep your feet warm indoors.My first Florsheim purchase. They are equal or greater in comfort than my Merrell's or Keen's.
The nu buck looks great , I was never able to wear this type of boot because they were always too tight . These come in a wide size , so as I read in another reviewers remark - you gain little in length , its not really noticeable, the main thing is they fit really well from that . There is no break in time ,the nu buck is not motorcycle thick leather however I wear them when riding right now . They look almost like suede cowboy boots . I like em . Dr M. will slide on pavement if you try using them for riding a scooter or motorcycle, believe me . I have walked miles in these no problems
