This is my 2nd pair of this particular shoe. The first pair has been worn pretty much daily for two plus years. They still look fine and really feel good, with or without socks. They are beginning to break down inside probably because I wear them all day without socks.The new pair promptly left me with an abraded heel after wearing them right out of the box for an all day excursion. They definitely need a little breaking in, and with a bandaid on my heel they feel great. No issues as I'm sure they will break in just fine. I highly recommend this shoe for casual and work where they'll let you wear this style. Very satisfied.
Has a slightly tighter fit than you might expect for a XW, but this works for this shoe due to it being almost an athletic shoe. Great sole for traction and the heel cup holds shape and form for ease of slipping on. I can wear these for casual work days and any casual event or on a pretty decent walking pace for a couple of miles. Buy them and enjoy.
Looking for a boat shoe I found this shoes at a steep discount. Lightweight and comfortable they are perfect to wear without socks for those hot summer days or beach time. Beware to buy half size up since they run small. Average price was 70-odd so paying 43 at Amazon was a STEAL !!
