However, it’s important to note that some users report a brief break-in period before achieving maximum comfort.

The first time I recieved these boots they gave me two different boots, one boot of this style and another of a different style, but thankfully I could return them with no charge. I had gotten the right pair in less than a week.It is a bit large but I think it is supposed to be worn with thicker socks. Once I wear thicker socks with the boots, they fit well. At first they squeaked a bit because of their material but I didn't mind the squeaking. Now they do not squeak at all. They are very nice quality, built well and firm. I have walked in rain and snow with them on and I have had no problems. I haven't had them for too long but I would recommend buying these boots.
I got these to wear to work at a nursery. I'm out side during rain and snow. These work great and no snow gets in and my feet start warm and dry. This is my third pair in 6 years but they are worn in all weather about 50 hours a week.
UPDATE: They were comfortable. They were stylish. The are waterproof. But they didn't last 2 months before they started falling apart. The boots started coming apart on the sides of the toe area. The Montanos shoestring guides popped out. . one by one. So much for these.Cheap materials and poor manufacturing. Disappointed.
These are handsome boots even though they have absolutely zero natural materials in them. Because of their purpose, to protect from water and muck, the all man-made materials actually aid in their function. However it does make them a bit stiff. Not sure if man-made materials really break in. If you wear a good crew or athletic sock, they’re comfortable enough. Rather scratchy and inadequate with the ankle socks I normally wear.I originally ordered a size 13 because that is the size of my Fila sneakers. Was way too big. Re-ordered a 12. They're the right size but still a bit wide. Can snug them up successfully, but you can tell they’re too wide by looking at the laces. I still would buy them again at this price. They do look nice.
I ordered these and I was really happy with my purchase.... I saw some comments and other reviews about them being slightly loose and I can concur that they fit ever so slightly loose but they're not wide... I have a narrow foot and do not like wide shoes or and they fit great... They are awesome in very cold weather, deep snow, and wet weather they have really really good traction for icy or wet footing situations and overall I would purchase these again... great value!
I love these boots, perfect for wet or snowy or muddy days!I wanted a pair of synthetic material all-weather boots and these fit the perfect price range and I couldn't be happier with them. They have metal lace holders with provide a LOT of flexibility in the lacing tightness, but be aware that they are definitely a quite loose fit. However, that feels totally on purpose because when it's cold or wet out, it's definitely preferable to have thicker socks (or double socks), and they make the fit on these boots perfect. That said, though, it does make them a little wobbly to wear all day with regular socks unless you buy a size or half-a-size smaller. I prefer wider, rounder shoes, and these aren't as "round" as something like sketchers, but they hit a perfect middle ground. The design is also a little too "rain boot" for me, personally, to see them as just a regular day to day pair of shoes, but again, these are an amazing price for some perfect camping, hiking, working, outdoor boots. They do not have a steel toe, but again, they could be roomy enough for inserts, and the rubber is solid all around the base and up to the tongue, so as long as you're not in direct construction, they do seem to provide above average protection.
These boots I have had for about six months now and they are narrower in the front than expected. I have wide feet and wish these boots were wider in the front. Otherwise they are wearable.
So far so good. Used them today for the first time and it fit and worked well. At the price point, it was hard to pass up. The use for me was in a wet, muddy areas and it held up well. Shot it clean with a water hose and feet were kept dry. The bottom are rubber, the uppers are some synthetic leather type material. i don't know how well the uppers will hold out, and it would have been better if they had the tongue sealed so that no water would get in, but it's okay. Guessing if i'm caught in the rain, then i'll make more of a difference. What surprised me the most was the fit. i usually get wide shoes, so i was happy that it was built with some extra room by the toes. waking for 4 hours and my feet were fine.Again, for the price, this is a great shoe. it's not going to be stylish, but it gets the job done.
