I've been wanting a pair of ruby slippers for the longest time, but then I saw these-- and they are just beyond adorable. The shoes are relatively comfortable for their shape. I had ordered a size 11 to be on the safe side-- I'm normally a 10 or 10.5, and these fit just right. The medium width is good for me-- usually I am most comfortable in wide shoes, but these aren't actually very narrow, so the medium is just fine. The glitter is very firmly attached to the shoe and only has the slightest variation-- good near-perfect uniform coverage, with no empty space. The ruffles at the back of the left and right heel aren't a perfect mirror image, but are close enough to look good; in fact it adds a kind of charming touch. The insoles and other insides of the shoe seem well-constructed and are in good condition. The company seems like they were very careful about packing the shoes as well. For the quality and attention to detail, these shoes look like they should've been quite a bit more expensive than they were.These are definitely going to be a-- well, no, not even guilty-- pleasure. Repeat after me: There's no place like Akihabara!Update (July 11, 2012): after wearing these for a while, I noticed the white ribbon starting to fray a little in some places and a lot in others. I went ahead and used a candle to carefully-- and rather easily-- melt and seal the fraying bits, and slightly toughen the edge. It doesn't take a lot of heat, and the results look good as new. I was able to do this without any trouble even though the white ribbon is nestled between the layers of black chiffon. I just held the chiffon back with my fingers if I needed to melt-seal the ribbon a bit more thoroughly. Still five stars-- process to fix took maybe five minutes max.
Very cute these shoes run so small those there is no way i can fit and stand in them for a wedding
I was in a wedding in September, and the bride requested we wear black shoes, I wanted something that matched my personality, so when i found these shoes, I fell absolutely in love with them. They're cute, sparkly, and make me feel like an absolute rock star in them. I didn't wear them the entire night, on account of walking in high heels is not my strong point. They matched my gown perfectly and I received nothing but good compliments on how stunning they are. Love these heels!
These shoes are super cute! They fit well, and they look great! The only problems are that the bow on the front gets unclipped sometimes if you aren't careful when you're taking a dress off and you need to take the shoe off to put it back on, and the fact that the glitter falls off a little bit and gets on the floor, but everything with glitter does that and I expected it. Either way, neither of those things were bad enough to make me give it any less than a full 5 stars. You'll be feeling super pretty walking around in these. I highly recommend them for any sissy.
These shoes were beautiful. However, I wore them out once and they hurt my feet so bad I had to walk to the car in my hose and carry the shoes.
Loved the look and very comfortable.
I love the shoes however both the pink and black pair I bought, both of the straps broke on them. i returned the black pair right away and I am still waiting on a refund. Not sure I am within the time frame to return the pink ones.
They're really cute but they are absolutely not true to size at all.
