Rating: Highly RecommendedI am a MTF crossdresser and my body type is plainly masculine. I am 6'1" tall and over 250lbs. My usual men's shoe size is 11.5W or 11.5EE. Shopping for women's shoes has been a challenge, to say the least.I took a huge gamble on these after seeing that they went beyond normal women's sizes, ordering a size 13. Well, they fit! And the fit surprisingly well. I love these platform pumps so much, I feel so sexy and feminine wearing them. This was my first pair of pump stiletto's, so it took a bit of getting used to them, I'm not used to having my center of balance pushed so far forward. As a man buying women's shoes for the first time, I went on some recommendations to buy slightly larger than I would in a man's shoe. As it turns out, I should have bought the correct size. The shoes themselves are exquisite - sexy and beautiful. I love them! It's a pity they're slightly too large, but that is my own fault.
So sexy looking and a breeze to walk in.. got lots of compliments on them, and people asking where I bought them.... Everyone loves them!!!
I wanted so badly to love these but I just cannot. I wore them once on Halloween and they were slightly large, but it was fine. Then, I tried them on yesterday and they have stretched and are huge. They are completely unwearable. I know that my feet haven't shrunk because all my other heels still fit perfectly. I wish I could have them back at the size they were before the somehow stretched.
I've owned/ordered other pairs of Ellie Shoes in the same size and they fit correctly. But this pair - for whatever reason was longer and substantially wider than what was expected. Otherwise they would have been sexy shoes had they actually had a good fit. This isn't so much a dig on the product itself but rather the huge inconsistency in sizing on a single brand.
OMG!!! These shoes are SO sexy. I love how it is very much a pump yet with an extremely sexy open-toe design like a sandal. I wore them the day I got them--went dancing with a few friends and WOW, the stares I got; from both men AND women. I wore them with a sexy little black mini-dress with toes painted black and matching fingernails which all together made for a wildly sexy look. The shoes are very well made and most definitely worth the price--they were a steal in fact. Knowing they (Ellie shoes) tend to run a bit small I ordered one full size up; which was a perfect fit. In my opinion you CAN'T go wrong with these amazing shoes.
