Beautiful wedges from El Naturalista, and super comfy too. The red is a great colour, very vibrant and a true red. Note that this style runs a little small - I had to go up a size compared to what I normally wear in this brand.
This is my second pair of El Naturalista shoes and I love them. Cute, stylish, and comfortable!With that said, they ARE leather and NEED to be broken in. My feet are a little on the wider side and I was prepared for the break-in period. There are lots of videos out there, but short version is to dampen the leather around edge (top of foot) with rubbing alcohol and wear with socks for 30ish minutes til dry. I've done twice and they are now perfectly fit! Will likely get another pair in a different color.
If you don't like TOES hanging out... Get these shoes! Comfy and tones of compliments!!
I was very surprised that these shoes are not very comfortable at all! I expected them to be kind of like danskos but not in the least. I will have to return them. The toe box is quite narrow and I do not have "wide" feet.
These are cute. Have purchased 2 other shoes of this brand. One online and one on a shop. These shoes are tight across the top of my foot but, I will admit, I have weird feet...long toes, high arch. Hoping in time they will soften up across the top of my toes.
I normally love El Naturalista, but not this time. This is the worst shoe EVER. The bottom is extremely slippery. The toe bed and foot bed are way too narrow (for reference I wear a 38, and my feet are narrow, skinny, and bony, so this is a comment I’ve never made before). The shoe bed itself is hard and uncomfortable. I wore it for a little over seven hours and my feet were aching with pain. Also, there is a part of the shoe with a very rough, plastic-feeling thread that rubbed the side of my ankle raw. Since I put them on thinking that I would love them (like I have with past purchases from this brand), I have wasted $145 on a pair of shoes I will NEVER WEAR AGAIN. I want my money back.I’ve worn the discontinued El Naturalista Yggdrasil Mule for over three years and was hoping that this shoe, since it has similar features, would provide the same level of comfort, support, and safety— IT DOESN’T. Please don’t waste your money on this new style.
Had to return the shoe as the right shoe was a bit stretched out with some damage.
