Update: I just saw this listed under Men’s shoes. It’s for Women so sizes are women’s.Review: I’m very disappointed with the textile-lined insoles compared to the leather ones Ecco used to favor in the majority of their models. So I docked a star for the cause of lost quality. The sole is very thick and not super flexible but enough that I’m happy with them plus I think it gives a firm yet effective cushion while I walk. I have pointy feet so I like the pointy-ness of this model. I have plantar fasciitis susceptibility and avoid pain by carefully choosing my footwear. Not every Ecco model is great for plantar fasciitis but I’ve been wearing this mule for a few weeks and they’ve been very comfortable. No pain at all. That tells me the footbed is cushioned enough and formed well for total foot support, at least for my feet. I consequently bought another pair in a different color. The quilted leather exterior still looks great even though I’ve gotten them wet several times doing quick waterings of my outdoor plants. The leather outers are lined internally with a decent quality textile so they’re a bit hot but at least it’s not a cheap nylon that sticks to my skin. Again, I’d prefer Ecco’s previously common leather lining or unlined leather outer. More lost quality. Nevertheless these were nicely made in Indonesia. While they comfortably fit my Wide-ish Medium feet (I’m wide over the arch and behind, not across the ball of my foot), they’re actually better suited and look better on feet that are solidly medium width or less. I think these would also fit high instep feet well.
Uncomfortable shoe. And no return policy
